2024 Big Butler Fair (Prospect, PA)

Decided to head out of state and try a new fair this year. This is a look at the 2024 Big Butler Fair, located on US 422 in the town of Prospect, PA. Midway was provided by Powers & Thomas Midway Entertainment and Powers Great American Midway and featured a few unique rides like the Bertazzon Swing Buggy, Wisdom Genesis, and a rare ARM SkyHawk. Other rides included a KMG Freak Out, Zierer Wave Swinger, Chance Pharaoh’s Fury, and a nice Tivoli Orbiter. A KMG Speed and Larson Loop were present, but both were closed during my visit (although the Speed was testing early on). Enjoy and as always, thanks for watching.

Very nice video. Both "Corky" (PGAM) and his kids (P&T) are some of the best show people in the business. Nice mix of equipment from both companies. As Corky starts to ease into retirement, it is cool to see Ed Powers and RD Thomas taking the lead on spots and carrying on the tradition of a top-notch presentation.

Thanks for the info. This was my first time seeing PGAM and P&T and their equipment was in great shape. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Hoping to see them on a midway again sometime soon!

Surprisingly, I found out about this one through a Facebook ad. I had never heard of it before and did a little research and saw that it was only an hour and 45 minutes away. So with the weather not being hellishly hot, I thought I’d go check it out. I actually thought it was a pretty good fair. It runs through Saturday July 6th in case you’re interested!

The booster there is Fabbri not KMG.

Thanks for the info. I was mildly confused with the whole midway since Powers is apparently 2 separate companies/units (PGAM and Powers and Thomas).
Having never seen a Fabbri Booster before, I just assumed KMG. 🤷🏻‍♂️. So thanks again!
