- We’ve teamed up with the former Strictly Come Dancing head judge, Len Goodman, to create #LetsGetMoving - a campaign to encourage people who suffer from osteoarthritis joint pain and stiffness to get moving again. Filmed on location in the Rivoli Ballroom, Len takes us on his evocative mobility journey, from being drawn to ballroom dancing to battling back from two operations and osteoarthritis, in order to play his beloved game of golf. Len’s story shows the importance of being active despite having arthritis and the positive role that exercise can play in one’s day-to-day life. For a chance to win a year’s supply of Flexiseq, share your mobility story on Facebook and/or Twitter using the hashtag #LetsGetMoving
One of my favorite Adjudicator at the "Crystal Palace Medalist Competition.
In 1986 at Crystal Palace,
An adjudicator I still embrace,
A good man who made us smile,
And made ballroom dance worth the while.
From UK to USA,
Technique was his ballroom way,
A stickler who inspired me,
To dance my best, to be all I could be.
Unexpected highlights in his life,
He lived fully without any strife,
Professionalism and jokes in his heart,
He'll be missed, but his legacy won't depart.
Rest in peace, dear adjudicator,
Your passion for dance was a motivator.
Hans
