Ohhh. I've just noticed a difference in the opening clip of the scenario and the active map. Was that deliberate? Greatly enjoying the series! What really interests me is the character choices and the approaches. While things tend to follow the same flow, there is still enough variation that makes it interesting. And, I now know how to say "otyugh".
[Paul] Are you referring to our friend in the south west corner? That change is deliberate, though likely a few other small tweaks were made to the build between when we filmed the opening and the actual episodes. I think at some point I rotated the pillar 90 degrees to move where the first step is. I don't think it changes much tactically, but allowed for better framing of shots when minis were standing at that spot as they often seemed to do.
@@WanderingDMs I am indeed. I've also appreciated the design diaries. Making / filming a D&D game that is interesting to watch as well as play is a challenge! I am looking forward to the awards ceremony to get a better feel for the challenges therein.
That song! 😄😂😄
I usually cheer on Dan but this week I was team Hoard Takers
[Paul] Nice! I'm a big fan of all our player groups.
@@WanderingDMs someone has to rep the bad guys every once in a while.
Besides, the dark side has snacks!
@@Nate-lq8jc [Dan] I forgive you this week, the Hoard Takers' charismatic mind-control powers are hard to save against.
Prickly pears for the goblet fodder this time? I love those 😀
Poor cultists. So many Sanctuary spells, so little actual protection with them 🙁

Command spell "dive" up to now has been way too player friendly. Dive means what dive means, regarding where one's head is in relation to one's toes.
[Dan] Thank you for that, I agree!!
Dive means dive! Not belly flop.
