the most compelling and easy to follow story is one driven by tension. If raw strength isn't a concern for your character, the story will only intrinsically interesting if your character struggles with *something*.
One of the main things I like about both characters is how they act because they have this power, they both know they are these God-like beings but don't care for the power, they would rather not have it at all one character (mob) tries to grow and become better without it while the other (Saitama) goes into a deeper depression because of it, they are completely different while being similar because how the powers affect them
Saitama's life already sucked before the powers then he found something that gave him joy in fighting monsters, but then after some training, he got a power that took that joy from him making his life worse for him
You don't usually get something like this when looking for op characters, something similar is a character that is just trying to get away from that life for some like maybe a kid or something
