I'm wondering, both Pieter de Vries and the name of the ruling counsel 'Landsraad' are Dutch terms/names. Did Frank Herbert visit the Netherlands while writing his story?

I'm sure you've realized that you can't be blocked on green or blue spaces, so you can always get you high counsil seat 🙂
