im from portugal, and darts are still very very popular at bars here! we got a lot of new machines that allow to play online.. and each player can register him self fo the any dart machine brand and start leveling up his ranking on 1 vs 1 onlime matches and etcetera
Any chance of getting you to give me a call so I can ask you a few questions as I'm not able to find any help around here but I haven't English Mark Dart arachnid Super 6 plus 2 but it's not registering right numbers
Another great video, thanks. But the only problem I ran into when looking into these dart machines, is the 'sensor webs' can go bad and are difficult to find and replace. So you might end up with dead spots, which would obviously be frustrating. I don't think there's a possible upgrade path to use more current tech.
Just saw one of these for sale for $200 at a Savers in Connecticut. Unlike this one and others I'm seeing on line, the cabinet has a wood finish. Don't know if it works though.
Anyone know how to turn the volume down on this unit? Purchased one today that works great but it wakes up everyone in the house when you hit a bull’s eye
Hey there, nice video! Some time ago I bought two replacement 9" amber CRTs that seem to be intended for the Arachnid Dart arcade. They take a regular 12V DC power supply and a two-terminal video signal. This is where my problem began: it does not seem to accept standard composite signal. Do you know what kind of "format" the video signal in these arcades has? Thanks so much, and have a great day!
I have an eglish mark super 6 plus 2 from 1989 do you know where i can get a new matrix assembly? Only a few numbers actually hit. Great vids also! New sub here
Cool machine although it needs a THUNK sound effect! I followed the rules of Cricket but not the winning conditions. If you clear the numbers first but have a higher score, who wins? Is that even possible? I'm not good at maths.
I've done the research on how to change out the power supply to a modern switching supply to avoid glitches. I can't find anywhere what the recommended wattage a supply should have. Do you happen to know?
Looking for someone to check out my super six plus two. The numbers do not register correctly everything still working but it's not registering correctly so not really sure which parts I need
John's Arcade Game Reviews & Tech - i bought one of these in pristine condition. However, after about an hour the screen goes crazy. Obviously when the guy demonstrated it to me i didnt play it very long. I wonder if the screen is the issue and if i can even get another one? Hmmmm
Usually you remember your number and there will be a gap before your number. So if your 4 usually 1 2 3 will be empty if you're up next. A new player would put it at the end of the existing stack. So if 5,6,7 had quarters a new person would put one in spot 8. This system would work up to 10 players waiting. Then it could get confusing because all slots would be filled. But usually there were only 3 or 4 or 5 people waiting max so the system worked.
Great boards. I still have a few of the upgrade chips. Wild card cricket and memory chips. I used to run a few large dart leagues back in the day.
do you still have parts I just picked one up and I am looking for parts for it.

Softip is 8 feet from the board 7ft 9.25in is steel tip distance
My uncle had one of these in his basement, not 100% sure if this was the exact model, but I remember that yellow sky-ed london skyline and the logo.
I now have a dart board in my basement for a Christmas present.
Awesome
But it’s not the same dart board you have. It’s a different one.
You could retrofit a start button on the coin sensor
Pretty cool for a 1988 coin-op dartboard
Yeah, I think I corrected myself in the video EVENTUALLY. :)

How set volume control

Nice Arcade collection, do you leave the arcade's on 24/7? if so is the electric bill high?
It will make noise when push power button but won't display anything on moniter
Pretty kewl, I need to learn to play darts :p
Does yours say baseball on the sticker above tv. Mine does but I only have same games as you in machine.

Isn't the volume on the PCB ?

I wonder if I should have that dart board in my basement.

I just got one of these dartboard looking to replace monitor any details?
You should turn these things off before opening them. For safety, you know. You can get fried pretty hard if you touch CRT, for example.

Any idea on where to get a matrix?

How much did a power supply cost?
I used this modern switching power supply in mine. WINIT 16A Arcade Switching Power... www.amazon.com/dp/B01C5E8W3K?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have one of these for sale in the Upstate NY area. Needs a little work but it turns on and everything. Anyone want to come pick it up for cash?
Where do you find parts and info on these I have an AD 5000?
