Really enjoyed this vlog; I really enjoy all your vlogs! I actually completely deleted (like really deleted, not even just deactivated!) Instagram a little over a month ago. Instagram just always made me feel awful and I decided it was time to be done. You definitely cannot get time back with little ones, I think it is so wise to take breaks, and often! I appreciate you speaking out about it!
I periodically come & watch your videos. Just want to say congratulations 🎉 on your new born. You always provide good content, i love how relaxing your videos are. Never apologise for your content. You always provide quality content & now that you have a beautiful bundle of joy she comes first❤ best wishes
Perhaps we have all become so consumed with curated life we have forgotten how to live normally.
I think this is true for a lot of people!
Hi Meghan lovely vlog. I'm only on RUclips. It doesn't hurt to take a break now and then. So you can enjoy a normal life with your family don't post everyday on Instagram just once a week. ❤
Hello and love your videos, so relaxing!:) Your such a good mommy and love your food
Choices
And how you prepare for
Your little one and your interaction is beautiful😊also love the play kits and thinking of purchasing for our little ones! Thanks again so much and God bless!
Hi, Meghan! My son at that age was diagnosed with peanut, egg, and milk allergies - Those were his favorite foods. The doctor said that he would never be able to eat eggs, peanut butter or drink milk again. We had to supplement with iron vitamins and give him pure prescription calcium to drink daily for a year and a half until he slowly outgrew them. He's now 22 and not sure why, but you would never know he had any food allergies at all.
That tomatillo salsa verde is my favourite!! A bit pricey but so worth it. Also a trick my bf taugh me is to tap the bottom of jars a few times with the palm of your hand and they will open much easier :)
This was so fun to watch! I also took a break from instagram. I think I’m on week 7 of not being on. My mental health is doing so much better. There’s just so much pressure on these platforms. Also I loooove crocs!
It's made a big difference for my mental health too. And yes!! I'm officially a croc lover!
more vlogs please 😙😙❤❤
Oh gosh I totally agree with you about IG specifically. Pressure, anxiety, comparison, fast pace of useless stuff ... just take a real maternity leave Megan 💙 you and Sadie deserve full attention and care and no distraction
Hello Meghan, I really love your youtube videos, they are so calm and positive. I love your all of videos about nutrition, lifestyle and also about your life. They are such a good inspiration. I am now expecting my first baby, and it got me thinking a lot about what I want to be for the little one. I read now the book about digital minimalism and I know what a loss of time some aplications are, especially instagram and such. So I plan to reduce this time also. And have more quality time. I liked the Montessori toys you had, I have a book about Montesori baby, to get some inspiration. And also tips about baby foods. The freezing tip is great. I wish you and your family all the best. Hopefully your daughter wont have the allergy in the future. About the egg allergy, I have a colleague who has allergy only to egg whites, not the yolks. So maybe there will be also development to the better. Enjoy your time with your daugter, that is the most important anyway☺All the best
Congratulations Meghan with the plants! And aww what a cutey you have.
Your baby girl is such a sweet heart. Julio Gomez is my name, and I’m in love with your channel.
Please keep it coming. You should teach her animal sounds!
My favorite animal is a Horse
Love/hate relationship with Crocs as well
So great to see you; your daughter is adorable!🥰 I love Crocs and now Skechers has their version in several different styles-just bought a lime green pair...love them!🐊 I HAVE to keep work separate from home. Home has become my sanctuary and separation from the work world, so for me to bring outside work( like work remotely)I usually opt out. I prefer to go to the office instead; be done there and come home. Just my preference.🤷♀️
Having that separation is so good!
Love your plants.
It is good to go through breaks from different things that are not as important, especially in comparison to your adjustment to a baby!
I love how you have introduced her to so many veggies and such that people wouldn't think to. I love that.
I am sorry to hear about the peanut and egg allergy. One of my sons is allergic to all tree nuts and peanuts and has not outgrown it yet like they hoped to. They thought he was allergic to eggs for a while but if he was, he outgrew it. We never officially checked on eggs, but his face swelled up once after first trying it, though nothing like how he reacted to the peanuts. Ever since, if he is exposed jut a bit to some peanuts or tree nuts in his food, he'll throw up 12-18 hours. It sometimes happens 5x a year, but it has decreased as he gets older and older (he's 14).
Have a great week.
Oh my gosh throwing up for 12-18 hours!! That's horrible :( So far Sadie has only had one exposure (to both peanut and egg) and it was just hives, but there is always the potential for the reaction to be worse in subsequent exposures, including anaphylaxis. Hoping we never experience that! They're going to test her again in 6 months.
Thanks for sharing ❤️
@@meghanlivingstone He will throw up every few hours for a brief couple minutes. Sometimes he'll throw up 4 times in those 18 hours, other times it will be 6 times. There was one time it was only 2x in 12 hours and we were so glad about it. I tell him to always warn his friends to wash their hands and I tell him to wash his and not put his fingers in his mouth (he is a nail biter).
It was so much worse when he was little because he'd be sharing LEGOs with kids who just finished peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at the homeschool co-op we were in (and parents were warned to not bring any of that stuff).
Thankfully, he has a trigger warning of when he will be sick in the day. He feels a weird feeling in his throat and then I know.
I truly truly hope you don't have to go through that at all as well.
I am allergic to most fruits other than avocados, but I have to actually chew and swallow them to have reactions.
Beautiful video
Can't wait a video for those lattes though
I don‘t have IG at the moment, so I hope you read my message here, too:
Could you do a video about eating with lipedema?
A lot of women have it (and a lot of them discover that at the moment due to the awareness on social media) and the medical options are slim (in Germany you can get support stockings and lymphatic drainage payed by health insurance, and an operation is only payed in stage 3 cases - which is bad already, but a lot of your listeners probably don‘t even have health insurance).
A non-medical approach would be loosing fat (where your nutrition knowledge comes in), which is pretty hard for lipedema patients, as it is part of the condition that the „sick“ fat will hardly go away. Also to me it feels very weird, as I am not overweight and I don‘t want to lose all of my fat in the healthy areas until I finally loose some fat in the problematic areas.
What my doctor said, was „you can never gain wait and you need to start loosing weight right now. It is probably best to not eat sugar and carbohydrates at all. Try intermittent fasting.“, which didn‘t really leave me feeling like I know what to do and how to do it healthy and realistic…
As this is a life-long condition with not many options, I am sure that many women would appreciate your approach to it a lot :)
Of course I know, that what you can recommend is limited and that the effects have their limits, too, but honestly it would just be nice to have something to try, and maybe it works for some people (which would be a huge win) and the others keep looking…
Thank you for sharing your recent thoughts about Instagram here. I watch your YT videos for the nutrition content and your gentle laidback vibes, so I've never seen your Instagram content. I hope you find your equilibrium there soon. 🙂
Sadie is growing up so quickly. You're soon to have a walking partner during your day walks. Kids love exploring outside once they start walking and I see that happening very very soon cos all she'll want is to be outside 😂, but at least you've got a great garden for her to play around.
you have to savor the moment since Sadie is still a baby it would be sad if she'll have to go to school as years by
I’m trying hard not to laugh when you said you’d have more time as she got older 😂😂😂
Haha I should have clarified - next year we will have a little bit of childcare at her grandparents house during the week (and then when she's in school, etc. etc.)! But yes still anticipating having my hands full for many years to come LOL
@@meghanlivingstone that is really fantastic. You have the ability to be a much better parent when you have support ❤️
I love seeing your daughter's little hands and feet. You are doing an amazing job!
🥰💞🪻🌷🇮🇹
Ladies! Is everything alright these days 😮
I put my Instagram to private as the porno boys started bombarding everyone! I just was so tired of having to delete all of them and block time and time again. I am very protective of my viewers as I am an older woman and I did not want my followers to be exposed to all that!
Hello 😊 do you still give Sadie breastmilk in the mornings before food? Hope you’re all well ❤
Hey there yes I do! She is still exclusively breastfed multiple times a day!
