We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! every day we encounter challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.
Keeping some gold is usually a wise decision. You would be better off keeping away from equities for a bit or, even better, seeking advice from an expert given the current market conditions and everything that is at risk with the current economy.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.

Checked out Model Y now (keeping only the Fed tax credit and without the gas saving bull crap) and it is still around 37K. Way too expensive for a car that will have an effective life of about 8 to 10 years. My model 3 (326 mile range when I bought) from 4 years ago charges only up to 270 miles these days when I do full charge (normally charge only up to 80%). Expecting range to drop sharply in the coming years. People who bought the 270 mile range cars in the last few years will be in a rude shock after 4 or 5 years and the value will crash. Expect 2.8% battery capacity loss each year.
I sold my 2018 Model 3 long range rear wheel drive for half what I paid for it after 5 years. I bought a new Model Y AWD with 20” wheels and tow hitch for $38K out the door tax and license in LA. I feel Tesla’s are worth it over a gas car, excellent value. The only maintenance I did on the Tesla was AC filter replacement. Everything else was done under warranty, a 12V battery replacement. I changed tires once. I’ll buy a third Tesla in 5 years. I’ll never go back to a gas car, to expensive to maintain, and fuel is to much also.
@@andrerodriguez7603 I have a 2009 Prius also with me. Almost no maintenance. Change sparkplug, inverter fluid every 10 years and still gives me more that 52 in summer and lower 40s in mid-west winter. Also, doing 2 oil changes a year. No timing belt, serpentine belt, lifetime sealed transmission (like Tesla) and almost no big ticket maintenance. I am planning to use it for another 5 years. Just one Toyota Hybrid will be enough for 25 years. Have you calculated the electricity cost? My model 3 on the third set of tires and each time $1000+ . Electric is heavy and consumes money in a different ways.
FALSE, Tesla w/ 2170 will last MORE than 35+ years, even L2 charge to 90% DAILY. if you get a LFP model Y (not in USA) it will last 50 years and can charge to 100% L2 daily. and Supercharge to 100% DAILY.
I think you would see the loss of range in your Model 3 will stop or slow down dramatically in the coming years. That car will have atleast 200Miles of range for a very long time
@@adambakkam1527 you might argue that claim. If you take today’s price at $249.10 X 15 = $3,736.50, this is the current price pre splits. I’m glad I was smart enough to load up on Tesla shares in late 2019. Got all my shares at pre splits price. I think at today’s price it will go to $2K per share by 2029, as Cathie Wood projected. She was right when it hit $4K per share on her first projection. I’m holding all my shares. It’s under valued in my opinion too.
So what are you expecting? How much Profit per Share this year?yI think it will be around $2.25!!Last year it was $5.80!!!So around 63% less Profits then Last year!
@@BrunoHeggli-zp3nl Yeah for sure margins have compressed but they are probably bottoming out now. If they come out with a cheaper car (which they will, soon) and rates cool, you might be able to get a Tesla for under $400/month car payment. That would unlock volumes of 5M+ per year instead of 1.8M. None of this includes their future product roadmap like autonomy, battery storage, etc... These types of stocks trade at a premium because the investor base is in it for the long-haul. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but it's nothing new. It was the same with Amazon if you go back to the early 2000's. Amazon had a P/E of 500 in 2003, and still had a P/E of 200 as late as 2017. Yet AMZN destroyed the S&P over any of those timeframes.

Could you possibly recommend a CFA you've consulted with?

Highly debatable if you couldn't tell lol
Are you freaking kidding me? At these ultra low prices they are practically giving away Tesla Shares. Buy buy buy!! 🤠
Ultra Low?Are you crazy?A growh company that doesnt growh at all and sells less Cars then Last year with massiv lower Profits!
