      But I got fit big ace2 so if someone got one and know how to do it but I have to sleep and the the sleep says there is no data help me if u know that but record or I will subscribe

    When in doubt, go to the video ! WATCHING your directions resolved my Fit Bit freezing . I hope user's know they have to have the Fitbit app.

    Love the Fitbit I have both Apple Watch and fit bit . I prefer the Fitbit over the Apple Watch for tracking. This worked thank you. You were much more helpful then Fitbit lol

    Oh boy, thanks for that! I've been struggling with the help instructions for the fitbit to erase all the data and what it tells you to do doesn't work at all. You helped me erase it all in a few seconds. I needed to erase everything because I'm returning it as it doesn't do everything I need it to do. I should have bought a smartwatch instead.

    My Fitbit Charge 3 has worked very well. last month, the sync has gone slow. Today, it couldn't sync at all even though I restarted it so I got it factory reset. Now it works and synchronizes quickly. Thanks Brandon

    Easy, thank you! Selling this unit, and need to reset. Had too much trouble with this unit (and the two that preceded it, after Fitbit replaced). I wanted something that would properly track open-water swims, and so I switched over to the Garmin Swim 2, which works great: the Swim 2 uses GPS, not just strokes. The Charge 3 will count laps in a pool, but.... I can count my own laps. The problem with the Charge 3 is that it will record steps while simultaneously recording pool swims. Many emails back and forth with Fitbit, but they were evasive in addressing this issue, and they would make recommendations like resetting the unit, or they would replace it with another unit. Three in a row, all did the same thing: record steps while swimming in a pool. The solution was to not wear it in the pool. And to get the Swim 2. I think the Charge 3 is better at some things: recognizing different forms of exercise, and recording and analyzing sleep patterns. It's a trade-off.

    Thanks for the video, I am using my Fitbit watch with Ambrosia Blucon device to monitoring my glucose in every 5 minutes. It gives me update when my readings are out of range. Really very helpful this Fitbit watch for me. Thankyou!!

    New Fitbit Charge 3 bought 5-11-2019 from COSTCO. Band irritates my wrist. Can only wear it for a couple of days at a time; then, have to keep it off for several days until my skin clears. I tried switching it to my other (right) wrist, but the same thing happens. I've been fighting it for a couple of months and now I'm going to return it. Thanks for the video showing how to reset it and how to delete my personal data. FYI - COSTCO has a 90-day return period and I'm sure thankful for it.

      @Christina Harnly Really? That band with shipping and tax on Amazon added another $20.00 to the $110.00 price. They've had a problem for years and failed to correct it and consumers shouldn't have to fork over another 18% for their failures.     I hope you pin this: If your fitbit gets frozen and you can't restart it or do the hard reset, try changing the clock face from the app. Seems weird, but it fixed my problem and several other people on the forums. Thanks.

    Thanks for the reset details. I'm returning this Charge 3 because I don't want to use location services. I only want the step counter and pulse tracker. Every time I log into the app, it prompts me to turn on location services. Fitbit tech support couldn't figure a way to turn it off, so I'll find another device. Thanks again for a simple, effective video.

    The Fitbit Charge 3 was on my wife's wrist every day for the past year. Yesterday, I bought her a Charge 4. I'm here to try out her hand-me down's. A Fossil smartwatch is my daily driver, which is good but not an activity tracker.

    Thank you for the Video :) I had trouble getting the smiley face to show up as I was not pressing hard enough. Seeing you do it with more force encouraged me to try the same and it worked! I had synching problems (right after a workout that I was super interested in seeing the heart rates for) and didn't want to lose any data.

    Thanks, it's working . This by far the worst product Fitbit has ever made. They need to work out the bugs before they release the product. My Fitbit Charge 2 never gave me any problems.

    Thank you this was very easy and helpful. My BPM was showing incorrect data as well as calories burned. I hope that by doing this it will fix my Fitbit, if not then I'll do a complete rest back to factory as my last recourse.

    Thank you so much. I had unpaired my fitbit, because of syncing problems and couldn't get it to re-pair, so I removed it from my fitbit account and tried to redo it that way, but it wouldn't re-pair until I did the factory reset you showed.

    Thanks for your video, the written instructions were clear as mud. Watching your video I was able to reset in a few minutes. Since you asked for comments on fitbits, I'll share my frustrations. I'm actually returning my fitbit charge 4, it constantly freezes and doesn't track my swimming laps. I swim 3000 meters a day and it will be 500 meters to 1000 meters off, even after I've tried all the suggestions on the help forums. For more information on my sleep and workout HR I need to purchase and additional app. for $79 a year. I bought it because the review boards said it was an amazing swim tracker. Makes me wonder if the person writing the review swims. After talking to other swimmers I'll be trying a different watch/tracker.

    Thank you for your video. Unfortunately that reset procedure did not work for mine. Will look more into it or contact the manufacturer. In regards to how I feel about the Fitbit charge three, I love it. Are you say quite a bit in fact never take it off as it tracks all day. My job is very physically demanding and I like the fact that it knows when I am claiming in doing a lot of physical activity. I like the different programs and faces it provides. Overall I am very satisfied and think it’s one of the better fitness trackers. That over an Apple Watch. As far as fitness tracker I feel it is much better than an Apple Watch

    I just did all this many times after my screen went black and it would NOT come back on. It would vibrate three times but the screen never lit up.
    I brought my phone over to it and went to the app. It said an update was available so I clicked on that and the screen came back to life. Took a while to update and all is now good.
    Don't give up hope...
