Really enjoyed the interview Lee, that you had with Michael Mauer and the 959 in the backdrop was excellent.

Wow, Awesome that you got 30mins of Michael Mauer's time. You must be seen well in the Porsche circles. Great questions Lee.
Michael is more important than the CEO of Porsche group, IMO. At the end of the day we buy the design and the engineering. The dollar cost is soon forgotten once driven. He is correct, 911 owners are passionate, me 35yrs from G thru 992, and I met a lady yesterday L thru 992 and but back nice 993C2S. I look forward to seeing his future designs.

I think the 991.1 is one of the best looking 911’s of all time. It’s a modern day classic. I own a 2016 Carrera and will never sell it. I have owned several 911’s before it but this is my favorite. Mauer is a legend. Thanks for this great interview.

A new upload from 9werks is always a good thing! I'm really looking forward to watching the video in full next weekend when i get free time next Friday night. You're looking sharp in that top/jacket. I'd like something like that to wear on more formal occasions. Where did you buy it from? Thanks for the great Porsche content!

Insightful and rewarding interview. I would have loved to hear his opinion on what he things the design flaws of 992 generation are.
In my opinion, the way the car looks at the back with the spoiler up is a weak spot. The space beneath the spoiler is a mess and the downwards-sloping edges of the spoiler feel wrong. If a fixed duck tail was an option, I believe many would choose it to remedy the issue.

I don’t dwell on the faults but I agree with you about the spoiler up position. It’s like fixating on a single flaw on your girlfriend it really is, I know exactly what you’re saying, but I love my 992.1, I really do.

@@danielberry1635 You're right, it's really a small thing. The overall design is cohesive and timeless.

Michael Mauer's comments about the 550 Spyder (James Deans car) and his designs studies that pay homage to ultra-lightweight sports cars, may hint at Porsche's becoming lighter in the future. Let's face it, Bhp and torque are going up and their new models getting as a result are becoming heavier to cope with the extra power output and crash safety regs. I see a furtive area in exploring reduction!

To be very candid, I really didn’t enjoy any of your reviews of the 992.2
You went from being sceptical to massive fanboy and it was just weird.
But, in this interview, you’ve pulled off some excellent journalism.
Very very good work. Thank you and well done.

    Sehr interessantes Interview ❣️👌🏼
    Ramsi 🙋🏻‍♂️

Great Interview 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻...but design is the one thing, the power train the other. Can't imagine a 911 being electric. The Porsche strategy ist getting electric as soon as possible as we can see actually with Boxster, Cayman and Macan. The fear that I have is that one day the 911 will also be only electric and from my point of view that would be the death of the 911 at the end...
