  • All living things share (with a few exceptions) the same genetic code. Because of this reason, it is possible to exchange DNA between organisms. The genetic code is said to be universal.

    Is GLAB India Medical Microscope with LED any good? Can you make a preview on it?

      I am also an Indian and I was also looking for a good quality microscope. Initially Glab's prie attracted me but I booked an ESAW microscope (₹5500) as I needed a good quality microscope with high quality lenses,condenser,stage,etc. Esaw makes microscopes with machineries imported from Germany

    With bacteria being so tiny how is it possible to transfer DNA which is even smaller?

    • @Microbehunter
      @Microbehunter  3 месяца назад +2

      If you mix bacteria with DNA, then the bacteria are able to directly take up the DNA (which is smaller) though their membrane. This process is called "Transformation" and you can increase the probability of this happening by adding the correct chemicals or by applying an electrical shock ("electroporation"). This will kill many of them, but of those few that survive, some have taken up the DNA and then these bacteria can be cultivated to get more of them. Link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electroporation

    Hi microbehunter I'm in 7th grade and we have a science exam next week and i wanna ask why do the tapeworms don't need diagesting sistem because i can't find the answer

    • @Microbehunter
      @Microbehunter  3 месяца назад

      They don't need a digestive system, because they are able to absorb all of the nutrients directly over their skin. They live in the intestine of a person (or another animal) and it is the digestive system of the host, which does the digestion for them. The nutrients will then go directly into the tape worm through their skin.

    But.. this video's topic is !?!... I don't know.. I'm sorry that I can not like it 😅 Not my taste let's say!
    Again, your channel is great for learning microscopy! 👍👏👏👏
