@ unblock7; actually mega don't have that many albums more albums than Foxxx; only 2 more than him. all those albums don't = being better, Kane has a lot of albums and same as Cool J and KRS One and i surely didn't like a lot of them as a whole. and i'm sure its the same with mega. only person i would say that every album was good was GangStarr and Wu-Tang . Even Rakim and Kool G. Rap hit bumps in their road. with GangStarr and Wu-Tang it was a collective. also @ ThemAdamBlacks, those of us understood where the nation of gods and earths started. if You do the true history of Islam, you'd see the real truth behind and how it started, and though they may talk that love among all races, even in the Koran/Qur'an; they disrespect people of color(blacks) even comparing blacks to the Devil/Satan/Iblis. and the Muslims who control the state of Islam now are not on the same spirituality as the black Moors. why do you think they're in over in Egypt destroying everything, because of the connection is has to a darker race. I'm a Hebrew and i'm not talking about the one on the street corners, but in the essence of the Lemba Jews and Ethiopian Jews..but that's another discussion for another day
I think Megas music is better personally. Freddie is alright but just not really into his style much tbh. I like some of his songs though and Industry Shakedown was a good album. BTW I am a huge Wu Tang fan and love their first two albums and the W was good but after that their albums were lackluster IMO (Last one horrible). The first set of Solos and 36 along with Forever was classic, after that they took a nose dive until Ghosts Supreme Clientel. Gangstarr is one of my faves ever, as is Mobb Deep and Tribe etc., some classic stuff in the 90's man. BTW glad you mention Rakim and G Rap, two of my faves from the old school to this day, Kane was great too. Foxxx is from the way back, wonder why it took him to long to get a release? Either or dude was alright. Nas is prob my fave of all times but lord knows he has some bad records too in that stash, Nastradamus was horrible, Streets Disciple had TONS of filler too. I get what you saying overall.
yeah someone who actually understands where i'm coming from. another one I forgot to mention, which many people probably have forgotten as well or never heard of is the Intelligent Hoodlum aka Tragedy Khadafi. That's the only other rapper from the Queensbridge other than Nas I like. CNN & Mobb Deep are okay; i like a few of their songs but would never purchase or even download a whole album. Tragedy was pre-Nas. if you listen to his first album and his other songs, it reminds me of Nas. that's why I always liked Nas over Jay Z it's cool to hear that street every now and then but when you're ready to elevate or need to hear someone talking about other relevant things going on in the world, that's Nas and other rappers like him. and if you look at the world, the intelligent people, teachers people of that degree don't make a lot of money, its always the relevant but truly irrelevant things and people that make money. You can think of a person like George Carlin, Andrew Dice Clay, Richard Pryor and Paul Mooney who talk truth but clowns like Kevin Hart make the money and will be remembered more as well as put on a pedestal. Powers to be want society to be dumbed down.
