    Amon walking through Tarlokk's BloodBending is one of my absolute favorite moments in all of Avatar! It's just so cool!

      The ambiance of the shot of Amon and his men half in the shadow when Tarlokk is going up is insanely cool. They look so menacing...

    What she hung on to in the box wasnt rubber, just cloth. Cloth isn't actually conductive of electricity

    I love Yakone using that perceived limitation on bloodbending to make witness claims against him seem ridiculous until Sokka was his judge, all because he managed to do it without the moon.

    Adult Aang is voiced by D.B. Sweeney and adult Sokka is voiced by Chris Hardwick.

    Aside of Katara, Tarlokk is probably one of the most powerful waterbender by simply controlling everyone at once with blood bending

    No not SOKKA Toph and Aang voice actors you did however hear Clancy Brown (Mr.Krabs) who was Long Feng as Yakone. there will be some voice cameos more than I noticed at first and I cannot wait to see if you catch them

    A thing about this episode is that it is revealed that only the most powerful waterbenders can bloodbend without a full moon, which made people pay more attention at the moment in which Katara bloodbent in the episode "Raiders of the South" the "wrong captain", and notice that the audience doesn't get to see the phase of the moon, which leads to the possibility that there was no full moon.

      I went through a rewatched of that episode and I'm pretty sure there WAS a full moon. Besides why would she Bloodbend the first captain but not the one who ACTUALLY killed her mother?

    Although some of the OG voice actors have cameo parts throughout they did not reprise the same characters.

      Dee also was all through Avatar if he doesn't know, does Appa, Momo, and all other animals. He voiced Chong who sang secret tunnel.. never realized he did Tarlok but he's a such a staple to this series

    No, they weren't the same voice actors. Zachary Tyler was Aang in AtLA, D. B Sweeney was adult Aang. Jack DeSenna was Sokka in AtLA, while Chris Hardwick is adult Sokka. Michaela Jill Murphy (or as she was credited on AtLA, Jessie Flowers) was Toph. Adult Toph is played by Kate Higgins.

    i wonder if korra could have bended the metal box if she used the avatar state,
    because i refuse to believe that toph didn't teach aang metal bending, not only because he was her friend but also because he was the avatar,
    and therefore all other avatars after him would be able to use it too

    • @lightningg252
      @lightningg252 11 месяцев назад +2

      That is if she could even get into the Avatar State at that point.Korra is not a very spiritual person and thus has had a hard time connecting to her past lives. I suspect that means Avatar State would naturally be harder for her to enter because of that same reason, only the most life-threatening circumstance would bring it out.🤷‍♀️

      @@lycos94Minor spoilers for GW. According to reddit, and I think I've heard this before, toph did try to teach aang, but he "didn't have the stomach for it". I guess it makes sense bc he had trouble with earthbending initially, but i understand why it seems like he shouldve learned it. Maybe, like Bolin, it just wasnt his thing.

      Considering that in the ep7 the metal used was too pure to be bended, you can guess that Tarrlok, not knowing if his victim was able to metalbend, also used that kind of metal for the box. I'm surprised so many people think about that seriously.
