They need to use the clear green more often. They way it catches the light and stuff if just amazing. It almost looks like it's glowing! Imagine a beam saber made with that plastic! Imagine Epyon's vigorous beam sword with that plastic!!
its weird because for some reason their clear plastic is inconsistent in terms of catching light and luminosity under blue light. The green parts in Amazon gundam and the orange clear of the Gundam Honou glows brightly. meanwhile the clear part on The Core Gundam 2 and on the MG barbatos doesnt.
Tbh I have both sets and despite what some people say I honestly like how the pack looks on Eclipse. Just the way it’s showcased in this video just looks very off and weird when attached, but when the wings are adjusted into a better position it looks phenomenal
On its own, it really looks nice. But as a backpack it looks too chaotic and heightens the overwrought look of the Eclipse. Reminds me of those models that keep on winning the gunpla contests here in Japan... Also, I am having a hard time believing that can act as a booster for anything, with those gun-like ends.
I agree it looks rather chaotic on the Eclipse, but I suspect it would look fine on many of the other striker pack compatable kits, especially if I did a custom paint job (I think it would look good on the blue Astray if I swapped out the red for blue). It is most certainly a booster/maneuvering aid, Those gun like ends are almost certainly guns, but it also has a lot of thruster nozzle type things, one each pointing forwards and backward on the center line of each main wing, 1 on each mini wing, and not sure if it is one or two on each mid-sized wing, for a total of either 20 or 28 thruster nozzles, and probably a few times the thrust of the Aile Striker pack.
Aesthetically I wasn't really a fan of the Eclipse Gundam, but I'm in love with this Striker pack and think it adds so much more to the Eclipse, I also just happened to score it on P-Bandai a couple of days ago so I guess I will be buying the Eclipse when I receive the Maneuver Striker!
i feel the build strike backpack works better on eclipse gundam. Dont like that huge gap at the back. Plus anyone that has a build strike gundam will have an unuse backpack lying around if it was made into Star Build Strike
5:00 - It's both since it made its debut in the latest chapters of the manga/motion-comic. (spoilers) Miyabi Kiou rode it to get to the HQ of Anti-fatice then sent it to combine with Eclipse Unit 1 in order to battle Unit 2.
Looks like if you take the time to pose and play around with it you could probably get something amazing out of it. It seems easy to look awkward if you don't. Love it and excited to get my hands on it!
My main problem with this pack is that it’s just… a whole mess of shapes when it’s attached. It obliterates the silhouette, it just doesn’t look good. On its own it looks great! Very cool, it’s like the Mobius Zero meets the Caledfwlch. On the Eclipse? It doesn’t look like it belongs.
Yeah it is true, but for me, i also don't like the Esclipse either. It is a good damn kit, it really is, but i just find it a little...busy-ish looking ?
The color scheme isn't doing it any favors, either. All that white is accentuating the wrong things, making it way too chaotic to be aesthetically pleasing imo. A nice dark, matte blue or grey scheme with colorful highlights could dull all that EDGE, and let you bring focus to cooler elements (chest, thrusters, etc). Look forward to customs, could really elevate this kit more than most.

Weren't we getting a seed eclipse anime sometime this year? Maybe we'll learn about it then, since many of us aren't interested enough in books. Also, my opinion on the looks? On it's own- fantastic. On the other kits- fantastic. On the eclipse- cluttered. Edit: I see now why some people say it looks good on the eclipse. The way Mecha was displaying it with the wings folded out makes it look too chaotic, but in the product pictures, with the wings folded down, it actually looks kinda sleek and elegant. I may end up purchasing this sometime.
I’m a little on the fence about this “striker” pack theres just something about that I didn’t really like I’d personally remove the top thrusters and replace them with wings (like the ones on the normal striker pack) and replace the connection piece with a a sturdier looking one idk it just looks like it could fall off at any second but it does look nice

Yeah while love the MG Eclipse Gundam, I'm really not a fan of this Maneuver Striker Pack, it's just all over the place... unfortunately I'm really torn, I want my Eclipse to be series correct in it's equipment, and since this is P-Bandai, if you don't get it while it's available, it won't be available in couple of years if you change your mind but I really don't like the way it looks, Actually I like it better on it's own as a free flying support vehicle... yeah..... the design is abit disappointing when paired with Eclipse For reference, I'm actually quite ok with Eclipse, its alot less busy-looking in person compared to the picture render. But the maneuver striker is.... too skinny? It feels like a bone wing, which can works, but arranging them in cyllindrical formation makes them either too long, or too busy, or too little. Out of the 3, it actually fits better with Astray Noir with its color scheme compared to Eclipse's white-and-blue. Eclipse is also very bulky and it makes the striker pack way too skinny and feels like its not suitable there. I will personally swap Testament's striker pack with this, and use Testament's on Eclipse if I have one, but Testament's striker pack is the coolest striker pack ever with its giant claw hiding beam gatling. And tbh, it actually looks way better as fighter mode. Its like Moebius Zero with additional thrusters and (assuming) beam cannon. It almost feels like this is Seed takes on the 00 Raiser concept, except 0-Raiser kinda looks better with 00 compared to this.
Hey Mecha Does the cockpit Part and it's gun not resembles the Moebius Zero Of Mu La Flaga. Wish they Release a Moebius Zero In the future. And the Ends of the wings Of the striker pack oddly resembles the rifle of the Eclipse.
It's cool and the cockpit looks really cool, but I don't like how far it's separated from the MS in the back. I don't like when backpacks are too far back from a suit. It's the same issue I have with Perfect Strike backpack and how far back the wings are from the Strike since the weapons are in front of them.

I'm guessing no pilot figures (heads and torsos) in the dual cockpit? Is the detachable nose cannon for the fighter articulated? I mean can it be turned so that is aiming to the sides instead of just straight ahead?
maybe its like the crossbones 'crossbones'? like a set of highly flexible thrusters able to point in any direction quickly and swing around for ambac maneuvering? it kinda looks like a more cluttered version of the crossbones backpack anyway.
the crossbones cockpit also docks into the chest, making the thrusters sit flush with the back. the ball gap is just ugly. shouldve just do it like the impulse backpacks where the 'jet' part is just a transport drone
I really don't like that ball thing on the backpack. It looks weird from the side and it makes the backpack really far away from the gundam itself. Also I would really like it if the cockpit can angle itself downwards like the 0 Riser. It sticks out in the back way too far
the way that the connection goes to the sphere first reminds me of the backpack adapters than comes with the core gundam and the build parts. it doesnt look good. wish the cockpit part would fold down or separate like the impulse silhouette packs, with it just acting as a transporter
I hate how flimsy every connection looks on this one. But individual parts look so cool especially that awesome cockpit. Makes me want one if only to make a proper aircraft from that cockpit part.
After seeing your Eclipse review and this; kinda making me want 2 of each. 1 set for transformed mode and 1 for normal mode. The maneuver strike pack just makes Eclipse look more badass.
My personal favorite is actually Testament's. Its a wing, that can shape as a giant pincers, with a claw that can grab MS, with a beam gatling hidden inside the claw. Its so freaking cool, and its not even busy like Perfect Striker or others. The actual model kit is also strong enough to grab a HG MS if you want to. I will pose it that way if I have enough space
@@ChrisTian-sd5yq Turn Red is pretty cool too, especially since it has 2 Tactical Arms L so you can do dual gatling backpack with it. It just does not mesh well with Eclipse though.
I like it but its a bit too red. I wish it had blue at like the top fins on the individual wings and maybe a shorter connection. That ball is way too big.

This back feels to busy for me. love the eclipse gundam ,but not a major fan of this. Well heres hoping, that this pack makes an Apprence in the manga then they give the eclipse an upgrade of sorts in the manga(I'd love to see how far the eclipse can go.

they use of a colored reflective sticker under it is a wonder. sheets also reflect much better than paint which scatters light.
Man, this thing must be a nightmare for the manga artist to draw.

Yes. Its wings will come in handy when you decide to kitbash them onto something else. They're like Wing Zero ver ka quality, but at 1/144 scale.
