Welcome to Joburg ❤ I live in Fourways (where Steyn City is located) and it's definitely more central to everything compared to EoA. The estate also has a lot of activities to offer like the lagoon, kayaking, golfing, mountain biking, dinosaur park park, etc. It's a great estate overall
Then you haven't traveled the country much. You should definitely go to limpopo, the houses there put these other places to shame. It's just hot that's why people don't like it much.
For now I prefer apartment (house 2) because it’s got everything I want (aesthetics, functionality etc.) but my forever home would be house 1 (perhaps when I am older) because of how serene and quiet it feels with all the nature and I would “customise” the spaces to my taste.
Hear me out. I feel Elizabeth is ahead of her time. Yes, crime in SA is wild. But seeing that coalition governments coming into play, SA 10 to 20 years from now is going to be a real estate haven (for investors at least). This take 100% might be wrong. But institutional investment circles think otherwise. The numbers don’t lie - and I’ll follow them. Should be getting my first estate property for investment in SA next year.
Hello Elizabeth I've been subscribed for some time now and I love you and your content, gorgeous and I'm humbled by how you so positively market our country love you love
As a born and bred South African (living in London for now, will be back), I kind of hoped to keep this as our own secret. I kind of prefer when foreigners thought we were living in mud huts, starving, so they don't drive prices up. So you're very welcome but please, keep it on the downlow. No mouthy mouthy!
Hmmmm, House 1 looks like it's for hosting retreats and large gatherings kinda on regular basis. Where property 2 looks more 'homey,' functional and comfortable. Sounds like you said property 2 is not the best location so that is a factor to consider when calculating and envisioning your time there, if it's for you that is. Both have their pluses although my guess is a property that combines what you loved about the 2nd one with a better location might be the one to keep on the lookout for. Either way best of luck on your endeavors. 🙏 😊
The quality of homes in the UK is also quite questionable..Together with crime, racism, weather and overpopulation..Here all you doing is taking full advantage of Euro/Zar currency
Hey Lamide , very good video . I can do better editing in your videos which can help you to get more engagement in your videos . Pls lmk what do you think ?
Yes we do have the best Residential Architecture in the world after Japan. As an Architect I'd say the only challenge we have for the second spot is South Korea. Those would be the only 2 countries I've seen with impressive Architecture that can put South Africa on the run for its money. Hounarable mention would be England, their aesthetic really is impressive as well. And then one country I fail to understand is the US. So much money but terrible home architecture. Its almost like they dont have Architects they just have Bob The Builders and they just put nail to the wood and build a home without even designing it. The outside aesthetic is just in result of the floor plan. No premeditated design whatsoever.
All sorts of things on RUclips about east of Africa not sure what's true anymore. Some video saying Africa s breaking up part of the east ireland will move towards Asia? Other African Utopia channels mentioning some lady slipping out that Kenya is an important part for USA???
And we are not waiting for your minus one problem because you could be bringing crime to our country, stay where you are or go fo Europe you will love it there
No girl....the crime rate in southafrica now seriously rivals that of Nigeria. Then there's xenophobia, where once again they target Nigerians. No dice girl sorry...!
@@Lamideelizabethabsolutely nothing but anti-African propaganda. Sure, he’s never even been to SA. Also, please tell me what nation doesn’t have a xenophobia issue…we’ll wait

I live in the Northriding area. Ten minutes from fourway Mall.
Joburg and Cape Town honestly have some amazing properties with insane views and great prices!

@@Tashas_Travels Oh interesting, thanks for sharing, will defo check it out.
yea kzn as well (the midlands, hillcrest, north coast)
The building quality of a 300k house in Joburg far exceeds a 300k house in the U.S. A modern home in the U.S. is easily in the millions.
US homes are outdated

Wow its actually crazy if you compare the house price to the uk especially London. 😂 We're living in a different world.
Here's me sat in my 2 bedroom flat in London, I paid £360K for. 😭😭😭
Great hosting you!
Thanks for showing me these listings!
Steyn City is indeed a vibe a lot of variation.

Hmm I see where you’re coming from
It’s a great house … shocking price v U.K. house prices
The prices are always a shock to me, we’re so used to super high prices in the UK especially if you want a decent size
The quality of homes in the UK is also quite questionable..Together with crime, racism, weather and overpopulation..Here all you doing is taking full advantage of Euro/Zar currency
People really baffle me😂😂not understanding or not acknowledging the currency exchange rate...
Have you tried the Dainfern Estate?
R6.3 Million?
Can you please include the prices in rands for next time...😅
R18 m
in rands!!! please
that steyn city property is opposite mine😍😅

Hi @divyv20 , do you have a page that showcases your work? Looking to partner with a video Grapher and editor for my building project.
House 2 for me
It’s also homey as well. The first house for me did not give me much
It was very homey, the stagers did a great job
You are no longer in the UAE ?

UK could never. new built r also a joke. swimming pools r non existent
The new builds can really be a hit or miss
So beautiful I wonder what the rent would be for this property
Welcome to mzansi sis🙌Enjoy your stay",)
What does mzansi mean? I see it everywhere and thank you so much!
Mzansi is another word for South Africa
Colloquial, vernacular term meaning down under.
Since South Afrhca is right at the bottom of Africa, mzansi means bottom hence South Africa

I don’t understand sorry

You should still move! I’ll probably be back in dubai soon, it’s only a short term thing :)
Until SA sorts out the ridiculous crime rate, in gonna have to pass. Great houses and video though.
No one is trying to convince you to come
Absolutely no one is trying to convince you to come

Remember South Africa never invite to come just stay where you are its much safer there
Yea please don't come, we don't need more of your kind
Lol you're picking up a bit of an SA accent
