Nobody else I’ve seen react to this song comments about the stop-start rhythm in the chorus, THANK YOU. That’s my favorite part of this song, so underrated.
Was about to recommend this to you, this was the first Spiritbox song I heard and it's still my favourite. Absolutely blew me away with how talented these guys are. The world might be in turmoil right now but I am fucking glad I'm alive at the same time as these guys are. That bassline also got me genuinely aroused the first time around. It isn't fair when both Jinjer and Spiritbox has some MAD basslines. EDIT: Jinjer just released a live one take on Judgement & Punishment that is WELL worth the watch. As are the live one takes from Spiritbox in Rule of Nines and Holy Roller.
I knew you'd like those bass riffs! Check out more of their earlier stuff, like "The Beauty of Suffering" + their trilogy of songs called "The Mara Effect" performed live at Silverside Sound -- 3 songs + 1 interlude, about 16 minutes total. Super intense mood to the performance, very atmospheric. Check out the song "Silent Spear" by the band mildrage + "SUNBLOOD" by the band Earthists. -- both are Japanese bands! Enjoy the content! 👍👍🤘🤘
Knowing your bass background and the glorious riffs/drop on this I thought you'd enjoy it. So glad to see that was the case. Loved the "unscripted" look to camera - that timing was priceless ;o) Now, time for a bit of Electric Cross.
One of my favourite bands such good instrumentals and vocals the bass in this is sick, so much versatility as a band, theres a new album in the works aswell
Perennial is my favourite Spiritbox song. They do have a nice video for it. It's less horror themed than their other stuff. Check it out! If you feel like doing a bit of a marathon, their The Mara Effect 1,2,3 live session would totally be your jam. It's very prog-rock Metalcore. It would make for a longer video though, naturally haha.
Love your work mate! Got a couple of (underrated i reckon) aussie artits for you to check out! Aussie Bass Rec: The Omnific - Pharaoh 2.0. Dual bass instrumental group, big Plini vibes from these guys. Aussie Alt/Nu Metal: Reliqa - Mr Magic (video) or The Halfway Point (audio). Female-fronted four piece spitting bars and sick riffs.
If you like some intricate bass work and top notch musicianship and composition, then you need to react to the Mara Effect live at Silverside Studios...it's a masterpiece.
As a bass player, you’d be doing yourself a disservice not checking out Bill’s other and previous bands (he was in A Textbook Tragedy, and is still currently in Living With Lions). If you wanna hear more of Mike’s evolution as a guitarist and composer, his old band Fall In Archaea is STUPID GOOD. Ryan was in a band called Stutterfly/Secret and Whisper, and Courtney started off in a band called Unicron (her and Mike joined IWABO after Krysta left the band, and the original guitarist also left).
Bill Crook is a beast of a bassist. I think that's why I like The Mara Effect trilogy of songs the most. Courtney and Mike are amazing but the bass is just *chef's kiss* Reminds me of Amos Williams of TesseracT. Speaking of bass, you should check out some Intronaut. Their bassist Joe Lester is one of my favorite. Plays a fretless in a metal band. Always sounds so incredible. It's a shame they had to fire their drummer Danny Walker cuz he beat his wife.. Mthey were my favorite rhythm section in any band period.
Try some of Courtney's earlier work. The group Iwrestledabearonce, and their video for " Boat Paddle " . Its a heavy tune and ya get to see a more humorous side of Courtney.
Finally people are getting into this song. This is what sold me.
That breakdown/bridge/thing is HUUUUUGE
Same this was the first song I heard and was hooked right away
Yes!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻 This song got me into Spiritbox! This band is so awesome!
This would have been an awesome intro!!
Yeah, as soon as she started screaming I was sold! Imagine a collab with these guys and Jinjer!!!
I am in love with this song, and girl can dance! Thanks for reacting to it!
She has a very cool style
Finally you heard Belcarra!!!!! This was my first Spiritbox song since then I am a hardcore fan.
I can imagine this one would get people hooked!
Roguenjosh you should hear the Mara Effect all three parts, electric cross and the beuty of suffering. Amazing tracks
Nobody else I’ve seen react to this song comments about the stop-start rhythm in the chorus, THANK YOU. That’s my favorite part of this song, so underrated.

Yes yes!! PT 3 of Mara Effect is centered around the bass, and obviously Bill is awesome throughout.
Mara effect trilogy is high in my list!!

It was so sick, what a band!

I’ll have to catch up on everything else before the new stuff drops!

The latest live for HolyRoller is on point too.
I really need to check these live one takes!!!
Roguenjosh check Spiritbox- the beuty of suffering Courtney Lapalnte live
The Mara Effect live at Silverside Sound is well worth checking out! It's parts 1, 2, & 3 back to back so it's a bit long, but very good.
I’ll have a listen once I’ve heard them all
Yeah, I love this band. I just wish it wasn't so hard to buy their cds. Good one dude !
Thanks mate, Your letter arrived and I’m waiting for my next jinjer video to open it!!!
@@Roguenjosh Yess !

HAHAHA not even done with the video and had to pause when you were like 'I wonder if there will be cleans'...and that moment...cleans. DED!
It was too perfect hahaha, thanks for watching Rich!
Check out Trustfall by these guys. Just as original and captivating, but an awesome change of pace. Also, Electric Cross is a great one-very eclectic.
Hell yes! Live or video?
@@Roguenjosh Video for both!
You gotta hear Beauty of Suffering!
Will do!
Roguenjosh you need to hear it the one take Courtney is a beast.
react to their RULE OF NINE LIVE ONE TAKE one
Yeah I need to check out these one takes!
I cant find Electric Cross in your spiritbox reaction playlist, if you missed this one i would like to recommend it ! xD
I have missed it, thank you!!
Courtney is next level! Love her!
Beast of a vocalist!!!

Haha usually I've just heard "right hand left hand" when it comes to hands names.
You review all the good stuff!
I try!

What a roller coaster of a comment!
Hell yeah wow, amazing song&react, agressive sik, nice and good. but still stay Tatiana Eugene Vlad and Roman TOP4me xD
So sick
Soooooooo sick
Please do panic at the disco bohemian rhapsody when you can dude. One of the best live videos I feel
Jinjer just anther it’s so brutal
I feel like my jinjer journey will never end, and I’m VERY happy about it
I feel like you’d really enjoy “Abandoned” by Unprocessed
Yeah I’m a big fan of that one!
Try some of Courtney's earlier work. The group Iwrestledabearonce, and their video for " Boat Paddle " . Its a heavy tune and ya get to see a more humorous side of Courtney.
Will do
I don't think you have to worry about copyright with this band mate. They've talked about liking reaction videos.
Yeah but it’s the labels that put them on and it’s mostly done by bots not people, for example this video did get one in the end
Jesus Christ, you have GOT to chill out on the pauses.
This video is from 3 years ago and I haven’t paused in years
Josh, you've got to check out Sold Soul, especially "Harrowing...". Dudes are incredible.
I’ve never even heard of them! Excited!
