Paul, you're just a wonder. There's not much that I could think of that would be more enjoyable than just hanging around your shop tinkering with stuff. Especially love your miniature 1911s. Just fantastic. Thank you.
Good to see you back again. We go back to the deKalb Tech days and you never cease to amaze me with your skill and ingenuity as well as your ability to teach. Charles DDS
Would you show a closeup of you handling one of those beautiful Lancaster muzzle loader miniatures in a video? Maybe even a completed scale 1911? Seeing them on a table is great but to handle one would be cool to see. Thanks, glad you’re putting up some new stuff.
Better in what way? For out and out power and durability you can't beat pneumatic die grinders. But they're not very convenient to use due to their need for compressed air. So there are trade offs. A lot of pros use Foredoms because they can run a long time themselves. Foredoms are a bit slower than inline electric rotary tools. They're just different in use. My CNC engraver likes to show me how much I suck at using rotary tools. What it can do effortlessly is amazing.
Always enjoy when you share your experience!
Glad you are back. thank you for your videos.

I'm thinking that there may be a way to super glue a hex nut to the blade and index off the flats. Half of 6 is 3 so just skip every other flat.
Glad you're back!!! Love the accumulated knowledge and teaching you offer us here!
Love the tutorial...great information. Gonna give this a try tomorrow. I have an idea on a sharpening technique.
Thanks

Sure is faster than a pocket knife!
Welcome back
I would like to know more about the tools you use for carving. Like the rotary tool. What would be better than the Dremel or Fordom type?
