Hello love your vids and thanks for doing them. Just a question.
Where did you get the HAT for Farlow? HAT for Namley is 4.4 but how did you get 5.4 for Farlow. I realise HAT for Farlow would be higher based on springs etc. I hope you can help.
Also where do i find information saying bridge hgts are based on HATS and not MHWS. I believe some charts are still MHWS and newer ones are HAT for bridges etc not height of lights. I cannot find it on
    RYA 3.
Sorry found it in the extracts and chart titles. Will leave my dumb question up there as it might help others!

HAT comes from the Training Almanac, page 12. It's standard that bridge heights are at HAT, but if you must know, it confirms this at page 9, under the symbol for a bridge.

Height for clearance purposes are from HAT but other hieghts are from MHWS

I think in the US clearance is given from MHWS not HAT which is where the confusion might be.

I have the same quesiton, i understand that HAT is 4.4 at namley but i just can't figure out wich calculation to get to determine the HAT of farlow. I guess i'm supposed to use the "crocodiles mouth" tool and the mhws / mlws but i don't know how... Can someon help? thanks !
