Listening to these mixes in 2024 and man, this old school happy hardcore is truly timeless IMO. Banging bpm, fat bass lines, and upbeat melody styles that still find its way and influence in the latest and trendiest genres to this day. God I love happy hardcore

I don't like how a lot of new hardcore has gone all trappy and electro. I miss the old skool hardstyle
i stay with it because nothing matches it for energy and euphoria! i just wish it was more popular in Perth.

yes the older hardcore is a true hardcore mostly if mixed in fast and good. The new ones are good too but some of them are fake mostly if they mix fast that people think it's impossible but the true is, pressing just one button and it will sync any records making the mix perfectly transitioned.

Absolutely I’m not a fan of new stuff at all.
I think the new stuff is often too cleanly produced and with soft-sounding basses. Almost chiptune-like (nothing against chiptune by itself though)

Oh god I remember jamming to I Can't Stop Raving so hard in my car at the time. Good picks for the set list. At the time Blue Anthem blew me away with it's melody I listened to it none stop. I also have the cd version of Next Generation. Such a good CD.

22:03 the quaily of this vinyl print is crazy, sounds so clean and punchy, i imagine you make a good amount of cool stuff in post-prod also to make your bord sound that good

LOVE IT =D kinda find it funny how the genres and/or the personal preference change the way you dj. I never use the crossfader or have the turntables in battle mode... Keep those vids comin =D
