You can do law if you're interested in accounting and taxation Can do internship in CA firm or associate firm to pick right path. For finance do internship but finance internship are difficult to get.
@@srinika18-love Well, there are good things about the journey and there are bad things. For now, let's focus on the bad part- 1) No in-campus internship placements, once you are in 2nd year you'll see many tier 1 companies will come, but their pre-requisite will be at least 2-3 internships done at a reputed firm. It would become highly difficult for you to be even considered for the position. Unless you start doing internships at firms from 1st year, which again might adversely affect grades. However, since will be in 1st year, only a handful of law firms in Delhi would even consider taking you in. 2) The grading is horrendous, with no assignment, no re-evaluation, only re-checking, The Question paper would be out of 100 marks, and you have to answer 5 questions each for 20 marks. To call the professors of FOL surface level would be an insult to the ground floor. However, only a handful are "good". 3) You can't even begin to comprehend the complexity when it comes to competing with the NLU, Jindal and SLS grads of 5 years and 3 years. You might if you work hard, on your own, have an edge over them when it comes to the application of law or when it comes to litigation and criminal matters. However, it would take you another 1 year extra after college to improve your corporate jurisprudence and knowledge of the culture to be at least be at par with an average student from the top 10 student. There are a lot of things that are there, but if you are from Delhi or have been a DU student, you can consider getting into the Faculty of Law.
