Its a fun and very scenic trail! All the dbl black stuff you can hike around! Still totally worth it even if your not into the extremely difficult terrain.
Thanks for the ride along. I always wanted to try this but at 70 y/o I'm chicken because bad things could happen, so I'll just enjoy you guys riding it.
My mother is 76 and still riding, I know two XC racers 70+ and I met a 93 yr old at a bike shop buying a new bike. Y'all give me so much hope for my future if the good Lord is willing.
I wouldn’t doubt it that my fork was probably locked out 🙄. I recently replaced it with a Fox36 Factory 160mm. It’s a badass fork and I can’t wait to “Pisgah” test it! Thanks btw
Just finished the whole video. Very fun to watch. It reminds me of my Farlow experience. My motivation for my gf to get through the trails is the Twin Dragon buffet 🤣 which y’all’s videos put us onto
Thanks! Did you also think Farlow was one of your favorite Pisgah rides? We’ve always been kinda sketched out on trying it bc it’s a double black. It’s not that bad though and it has the best scenery!
@clickoutdoors further east on I40, In Burke County NC. Look up 21 jumps School House and Wilson's Ridge trails. Also, sinkhole, Beehive, Greentown, and Raspberry ridge trails are in the area. I could help with directions next time you guys make a trip.
This is the most accurate video I have ever seen of someone riding Farlow/Daniel Ridge for the first time. It is a legit adventure.
Thanks, the gravel grind up was pretty miserable… Completely worth it though. The loop had everything you could want riding Pisgah 10/10
I agree 100%. favorite lines:" it's not death", "a bit of a hucker at the bottom". My only advice, take the biggest bike possible!
Nice Vid! Really enjoyed it….yes that was Mica you saw…it's all over around here. Also , just FYI, we pronounce it PIZGAH.
Thanks! Appreciate it!! We are always mispronouncing places… Now that I know we won’t sound like we are so obviously from out of town.
Crazy trip!

Super funny content, enjoyable, relatable, thank you!

Thanks for watching! We turn to chickens at least once per ride 😂🤣

The sounds of a ripper!! Awesome video🤩
That looked pretty epic.
It looks like your fork (the Stumpjumper) was locked out for that shenanigens. If so, I bet that was brutal. Fun video

I love the banter between you two 😂. Have you ridden Wilson's Creek area trails in Pisgah?
I’m surprised we didn’t argue while getting lost 😅 (That normally happens!) I have not heard of those trails. Are they near Brevard?

@@brandonthompson9608 Hell yeah, thanks! So those trails are rowdy downhills like Farlow?
Farlow gap is such a fun one! It feels very raw and untamed
It ended up being my favorite Pisgah ride yet! The double black rating always deterred us from trying it but it wasn’t that bad.
sounds could be the internal cabling system
I honestly never thought of that?? Good point. Thanks, I will have to check that out. Could be the dropper post.
You are not Click Outdoors for nothing. That noise on your bike had to be annoying. Great video dude!
Haha thanks! Good point 🙄 click clank creak outdoors
Come on man, pushing up a gravel road at 2:43 min in. I'm an old fat fart, been there, rode that .
Too many beers the night before!!!
40% grade of washout for 1 mile. Mentally exhausting
No joke, physically and mentally! But the downhill was worth it! (The parts we could do at least 😅)
