Pro life! If you don't want to carry the responsibility of caring for a child than don't have sexual intercourse... Also it's called birth control and/or a condom.

"Pro-life v pro-choice is a result of people sleeping around." Please study the roots of the push for accessibility of abortion. Rape is a sensitive and scarcely discussed topic bc of the dismissal of it actually happening. How do conversations like this, where men speak so confidently about the rate of rape being so low, compassionately and sensibly contribute to this discussion? There is marital rape, molestation, and lack of sexual education that contribute to the rate of unwanted pregnancies. I come from a big family of social workers, so many of their clients who were preyed upon and forced to carry pregnancies as children, could have benefit from accessible abortions. It happens much more than people report and the life-saving access to abortion should not be dismissed like this just bc there is a possibility for people to abuse it. We can have accessible abortion while still addressing the societal ills that lead to many unwanted pregnancies. I still love the series, but wanted to make sure an alternative perspective was heard.

The rate of rape is 'low' because men are in charge of the justice system. Imagine how many cases go unreported. And then among the ones which are reported, so many are dismissed. Rape is one of the lowest conviction rates of any serious crime, maybe even the lowest, because the men in power refuse to believe how much it actually happens, as you will know given your experience in social care.
As for abortion, I really have nothing to add to what you said so I'll just say I agree

I didn't hear him argued to limit access to abortion, more or less he spoke about how to prevent ever needing or want an abortion. Prevention is better.

Life begins at conception, this isn’t a religious issue. Muslims can’t agree on an abortion stance. I was considering converting to Islam but after learning this I have decided not to.

It's a sad Scenario no matter which way you look at it. The initial act that contributed and lead all the way up to the killing of a potential baby or the fear of poverty, or career goals 🙄that all contribute to a life being lost🍼.

Islamically this is permissable up to the first 40 days. After that, there is more of a debate.

While people need to be more mindful in their lives, including in choosing sexual partners and other decisions of their lives. But how they handle their uterus and its contents needs to be entirely up to the person with the uterus. Its their life to navigate, their life to review with their maker. No one should get between them and their G-d. It's not up to us to judge each other.

@9099 well from your previous statement you were judging the sinner not the sin. And second everyone commits sins as long as your trying to make a change and lessen your sins and trying to become better you you can get to heaven. And by you making a bold statement that all women who get abortions automatically are going to hell is disgusting and wrong. Please re look your life and see what your doing wrong instead of generalizing women which you don’t know their situations
