I'm twelve years old and my friend "accidentally" changed random tunes on my ukulele. And this is the perfect video for me that helped me reset and tune all the chords!! Thank you so much, Mr.Andy!!!!

I remember in public school in the 60s we learned to tune the ukulele before playing it. We said as we hit each string my dog has fleas. It was so much fun and now I'm learning all over again! Thank Andy! Love your videos.

I am used to tuning a 38 string harp. A 4 string ukulele is a breeze! Thanks for a clear and easy tutorial!
Impressive I must say but do you tune with your ears or use an app? The fact you tune a 38 stringed instrument is already impressive and I wouldn't be surprised to find out you tune by ears.
@@saujanyapoudel8910 I use an app on my phone or one of my two clip on tuners. Ever since smart phones it has made things so much easier! the clip on tuner are a pain -- moving them up the harp as you go. the app works great! Thanks for such a clearly explained video!

I have the same problem. Tried using his method but it won’t stay on the G note. The guy said to move the string every second
LUI Man Yin Reese Student it’s annoying as I bought the UKELE a couple of weeks ago and it was delivered last week. I am a music novice. I will try once more tonight. It just would not stick on G and kept going back to the A chord...

One question... Should the strings be different thicknesses if so which goes where?
I’ve been a musician for many years and I had no idea boss had a chromatic tuner app (I use the real one on my guitar rig). What a life saver; it’s so much nicer than all those little clip on tuners I’ve bought over the years.
I know this came out 2 years ago, but I found this much more helpful than any app or tuner, lol.
I can't tune the C. Everytime I turn the knob slightly it turns to an E and never is actually tuned. Idk how to explain that's the best I can do. Help meee.

Elizabeth Scheuermann Ah no I’m sorry. I had forgotten to take my ukulele to my local store to fix it and I can’t now since all the shops are closed. Maybe watch a few videos on youtube or search it up. If I do find out, I’ll let you know :)
Elizabeth Scheuermann I got it to G. When you get in between F and A tune it slowly in the direction you need to. You’ll eventually get to G

I learned ukulele like 3 years ago but didn’t practice much so I forgot
so the reason my uke sounded awful was because I was trying to play it a whole octave lower than it should have been 💀
