I went through this video wondering what you were going to do for the binding! I love it!! I love this quilt and it is a really great idea. I do have a problem with fabric that is too pretty to cut. This quilt would definitely work with it if I could tell my heart it is OK to cut the fabric!!

Thank you fpr also showing the quilting. Recently, I found most videos seem to stop after piecing and then only show the finished quilt from afar. And the actual quilting is still a little scary. So seeing it is really helpful!

Just the quilt I need to make! I've been reorganizing my sewing room and found that my quilt scraps and fabric reproduced when I wasn't looking! I found fabric scraps from dresses I made for my daughter 25+ years ago - scraps just too pretty to throw away. And, like some of you, found that I have fabric I don't remember buying. Now, I need to make some scrappy quilts (for charity) and other quilts from easy patterns just to get out from under the growing mountain of fabric! Thank you so very, very much for all the great videos on scrap and fabric management! 🌼

Everyone else may be used to quilt rulers like the one you used here. I've never seen that before, and not the way that you did that. It looked simple yet stunning and efficient. If you don't have a video on this already, simple quilting with rulers? Your quilting looked so orderly and doable with a regular foot and not needing a fancy machine to do it.

It’s been a rough 18 months for almost EVERYONE! Give yourself some grace and rest and recharge as much as you need to. I lost my mother and my beloved husband within 4 months of each other. It’s a wonder I’m not locked up somewhere. So much to deal with emotionally. Quilting and the quilting community in general helped me to get through it. I also suffer from depression, but my meds really, REALLY helped during this time. Bravo to you for sharing, and being able to come out on the other side, no easy feat for anyone, given all that you have been through. You are my quilting inspiration. I think I'd like a few of these for me. It would be fun to have a couple on these on my sewing room wall as inspiration when because inspiration does need a little boost now and then.
