I am now proud owner of those fantastic chromaphyosemion bivattatum funge. Thanks Lucas, I appreciate you making these amazing fishes available to the community.
I have clown killis. I found them few months ago & now have 21 starting to mate 😊 Have quickly became my favorite!!! What plant do u have in each container? I live a good water column feeder. Is it a moss?
Unfortunately Amazon doesn’t have them. They are hard to find since the company name who made mine is called Aquatic Habitat so the google doesn’t know what to look for and they don’t usually sell to the public but I did find this pentairaes.com/10-l-tank-parts.html
I Think i need you help, bought 3 killies Yesterday. 1 male and to Said to be same speoces females. The trouble is they defently do look lige one of the males you show😅 i Think i have 3 males off defrent speices😅 kan i somewhere send you a pic somehow😅 snap or someplace😅
I did a little unboxing video to show off my new Killis. They are doing well despite a couple errors I have made. One error is mentioned in the video. In addition to this I also forgot to plug their heater back in and the water dropped all the way down to 55 F since they were in the garage. Back up to about 72 this morning and thankfully still looking good. Tough little fish here. I promise I'll start treating them better.
I live in Las Vegas and have a 1000-gallon pond in my yard. I went to a nursery that sells plants for ponds and a decent sized tub with plants was also teaming with Bluefin Killifish. They didn't know how the fish got there but suspected the plants had eggs already attached. They were nice enough to scope out 25 of these fish and give them to me at no charge! They are thriving in my pond and even hatching fry which is pretty exciting! I have baby Bluefin Killifish swimming in and out of the plants. My question to you or anyone out there is: Will my Killifish survive the cold Las Vegas winter? the temps in LV during Dec-Feb can get as low as 50 degrees and 36 degrees over night. I would hate to lose these little guys as I have become very attached to them!
They can survive lower temps but make sure there’s not an air line pumping cold air in or a filter pushing cold water. They come from FL and some days get real cold but as long as it’s not for weeks you should be fine. Having the depth helps. Substrate can hold heat. If you really want to feel safe look at my all year round heated pond systems I made.
i was on your website looking at the killifish yall had because i recently lost one i was attached too and i couldnt seen any pictures of the killifish xc
Very pretty. I love Killis but have never owned them. It appears most die within a few months. If you keep killis, how do you deal with that because that is too quick.
This whole video all I could imagine is Lucas walking down the street with a white suit and gold chain on holding a bag of shrimp getting funky.....damn music lol
Its normal due to the way and structure of the plant. If your riccia is getting destroyed and pushed around hard by a filter or pump then it could be a problem.
I saw Chromaphyosemion bitaeniatum ijebu ode but there was no name... And ekondo tit is volcanum not splendopleure.. My Aphyosemion ogoense are in an 2meter tank and they do speed up in that tank realy great. Fast swimmer should have space to run.
Fantastic video. Lifespan?? For the past week I've been trying to find out lifespans on all the killies you have on your website. It seems there's very little info on each specific breed. Or at least I can't find it. I know there's annuals, semi-annuals and non-annuals, any chance you could put which type each is on your website? Over 45 years ago I wanted to try Killies but nobody knew anything about them. Hell, it's even hard to find good accurate pictures of many of these. Videos like this are greatly appreciated. Actually wish it was much longer.
Im pretty sure all the ones I got are non annual and can live 2-3 yrs or so. Besides the Simpson and Opathl ones Im not sure on those. Aphysemion and Fundolopanchax types tend to live quite awhile.
Beautiful fish but how do they behave in an aquarium as p[[psed to those small containers you have them in? Also....Please cut the awful music as that makes it almost unbearable watching the fish.
I was just on your website seen at all the killies you had. Thanks for the video
Those are so Beautiful. they all have an iridescence along with a pattern.. Wonderful..
Brilliant Info !! 👍
I think I've watched this 3 or 4 times. Went back and bought more Killis.

Thank you for the support and giving them an awesome new home!
What amazing color s they come in 🐠
Some stunning little species there!
Awesome killifsh love em thanks
Love Killifish ❤️
Cool beans great music and fish😎
Amazing animals.
Nice video! I picked up two pairs of nothobranchius foerschi at killicarnival and they've been laying eggs like crazy.
Wow❣ 6,8,10,12,15, 20 and 24 .... jumped out the most for me. Not sure which is my favorite though. Lol
I have a couple of anual killifish like yours at 4:00 but I can’t breed them what can I do
Peat moss or spawning mop and softer acidic water with a good diet.

Guppy grass, pearl weed, moss, vallisneria sometimes I just put water in it but try to have faster growing plants to feed off the excess nutrients.
lmao the piano gig
What is your take on mixing different killis In a community tank
where did you find these containers😅 been looking on you amazon links but couldn't find them

Oh my, they are amazing.
Looks like I will be setting up some more tanks.
Unfortunately I am in the UK so bit far to buy them from you 🤔💖💖💖💖💖
Stay legit... My family enjoys your videos/content thnx

The come from Florida so they should be ok
7:10 WOW that Dude is cool !!
so beautiful, i ordered 3 pairs, now i wish i ordered more
Thanks for ordering Dave!
6:24 Why is this not called a rainbow fish? 🌈🐟
i was on your website looking at the killifish yall had because i recently lost one i was attached too and i couldnt seen any pictures of the killifish xc
Do you still have the A Punctatum??? Did any of the eggs hatch yet?
Hey, I'm looking to hatch some killifish of my own. Do you know a place online that I could buy eggs from?
Those are soo cool.
What kind of moss do you have in there with them?
Will you try to collect any of those eggs?
Pilo moss and yes
Very pretty. I love Killis but have never owned them. It appears most die within a few months. If you keep killis, how do you deal with that because that is too quick.
Most the killies that I shown will actually live for a couple years kind of like bettas
In how many litres you breed them
The containers are around 2 liters and they breed in them
the playlist rivals the killis \m/
My favourite 15.
Interested in buying one do you sell them? If so how can I order one?
Check out AKA.org
This whole video all I could imagine is Lucas walking down the street with a white suit and gold chain on holding a bag of shrimp getting funky.....damn music lol
I have 1 male golden wonder killifish,
1 male guppy,
1 female betta
1 male keyhole cichlid
1 Julii cat fish
And are so peaceful together.
Wow!!!
Got my order from u yesterday. Is it harmful for riccia to fall apart??
Its normal due to the way and structure of the plant. If your riccia is getting destroyed and pushed around hard by a filter or pump then it could be a problem.
@@LRBaquatics Yep I will have to figure out something different with my filtration and flow.
Michael Sorge put a sponge filter over the intake inlet so out won't clog it up and eat all your plants...had the same problem with subwassertang moss

I believe it’s the location
Are you still keeping killifish?
I get them everyone once and awhile from the aka events but not actively breeding them
Fantastic video.

Which is your favorite?
Lol I can never pick favorites especially with these.
👀👀 are you still with us ?
I am :)
I can see how they could be mis-identified pretty easily..those are some fat healthy looking fish! would they interbreed with eachother?
I believe some can...
Congrats on 44k L :)
Pity these guys are not long lived.
Thanks! Most of these are non annuals and can live for years but would always be nice to length their lifespan more.
@@LRBaquatics I didn't know that...that's why we have LRB Aquatics :)
Even some of the annual species can live quite a bit longer in home Aquariums.
Please let me know what strain of cannabis you smoke before making the video just what to know 🤣🤣🤣
👍
All those Killies and not a single Northo to be seen.
I think there were under 10 notho pairs at the event and I walked away 2 of them.
So many Killies and not one spelled right.
Beautiful fish but how do they behave in an aquarium as p[[psed to those small containers you have them in? Also....Please cut the awful music as that makes it almost unbearable watching the fish.
Sounds like stoner music 👍
Lol doesnt all music
@@LRBaquatics Only if you're actually stoned
