Flash's implementation is pretty damn genius. Probably pretty realistic too. It's crazy that his top speed moves as fast as Supes flying top speed in real time (as in his literal trajectory across the map) but everything else is ALSO slow motion on top of that, probably more than doubling his 'effective' speed. And the screen lighting fluctuations feel like you're in the speed force - etc. etc. It all feels right.
i can never really be convinced of the common idea that "if you move superhumanly fast everything else to you looks like slow motion" i've always thought it was just a cinematic effect for added coolness to speedsters, or to make speedsters easier to perceive for the viewer. i think that realistically if you had superhuman speed and superhuman thought process, a second to the normal person is still also just a second to you too, but instead the amount of information you receive during this second is a lot more than normal. one day in my past i was almost going to get hit by a car, the adrenaline kicked in and i dodged it, during this split second, i didn't see the car moving any slower, but i immediately recognized the danger, saw the car, knew where to jump away, and reacted all in split second, i think that how speedsters see and move but on a much greater scale.

I really like how you included The Gate Monster. Not many players out there bother to invest in GTA lore. On a side note, I'd like to mention Superman was fast enough to break the frozen timespace of The Flash in Justice League. While still affected by slow motion, Superman was still able lock eyes and try to attack The Flash. Flash will always be the fastest, and if several races with Superman wasn't enough to prove it then maybe out running Death and the very fabric of the Universe will.
The biggest issue with Superman V Flash speed debate is comic writers dont care much for consistency. Like Stan Lee said about hero fights, the winner will always be who the writers want to win. Is flash faster? yeah sometimes. sometimes not. probably because Superman is suppose to be the Man Without Limits, hes as durable and strong and fast etc as he needs to be to overcome whatever obstacle is there. its honestly a huge headache for these kinds of conversations lol
