I dig in cemented gravel every weekend that is loaded with nuggets on the Yuba River. That stuff looks just like what I jack hammer, it’s sitting on serpentine though and the gold is shoved down into the serpentine bedrock all the way down to about a foot sometimes. When the cemented gravel pops off in chunks the serpentine is still stuck to it and it’s easy to detect. Love seeing you mining stuff that’s pretty close to what I do on the weekend’s. Thanks for the awesome videos, good luck down there!

If you have any nuggets that fracture in two when you dig them out, your method of testing a handful and throwing out if the scoop still triggers, is putting the other half into the wash plant instead of the target bag. Take another scoop and divide the pile in two, then test both. Is there a point where there's enough gold that you would excavate a large chamber?

Wow so much work but I can tell you love doing this. And I get to learn from all your experience. Can't beat that.love your channel and love your drive to find the shiny .
Hi. A suggestion. All that rock dust getting into your hammer tools reduces the life of the tool. Not that it can be helped. But putting some kind of filter over the vent holes helps a lot. But if the tool is getting worm with the filter. Drilling some holes in the case helps a lot. The other thing. Have you ever tried a spade bit in the jack hammer. Works well on a loses ground and knocks hard lumps off side walls. Good work Jeff
I am an electronics nerd and an aviation quality inspector. (I dig this kind of stuff!) Detectors seem to work best when the coil is in motion over a target. The search unit responds to the conductivity of the target from the oscillating frequency of the coil if the target is close enough to the coil. Pieces of iron, lead bullets, bottle caps, brass shell casings and underwire bras all have a different conductivity, sophisticated units can differentiate between all of these. I need more beans.
Your channel is rich and colorful! It's amazing! Browsing your video is like going back to school again! Let me learn a lot! thank you for your sharing! Wish you safe, healthy and happy every day!
Damn!! That’s some nice Shiny!! Nothing like the sound of your metal detector going off on some virgin ground, you know it’s gold and your heart jumps out of your chest! I wish people would stop using the phrase Game Changer in things that are not a game. Yea the game of mining? What? no. Still love the channel. Just my opinion which is not worth a thing.
U made my family leave the room when hitting the wall where the signal was back and forth. I was laughing and they just didnt get it. All the while, I expected what you found and glad it was... Wish I was there!!!
Do you have exp digging like this next to a large actvie water source? If i rig a 900ft wire to a large active river:stand active water source electric generator i could build. If im far out i probably still have to worry about sapping, etc. Btw i could charge a ton of batteries off the river for digging or if its active enough gen 120/240-380/270 volts maybe to power a corded power drill

Can't wait brother!
Oh yeah! dig it
I am an electronics nerd and an aviation quality inspector. I need more beans.
very good .

Your the first person on earth to see and feel that piece of Gold! There’s nothing like that feeling of exploring and discovery! Carry on Sonny Jim! There’s more there waiting for you!

It would be really interesting if you could teach us the mechanics of finding silver Platinum and other rare and valuable metals
Glad you sent your condolances to gly on abandon an forgotten places.!! Get well gly an god bless.!! Thanks jeff for all ur videos. I'm a long time supporter an u be safe an godbless brother.!! Keep the dream alive.!! An u know what I'm going to say.!!. So come on lets go!!
