I’ve been addicted to the IFL for 2 years now. It’s the best kept secret in Sports and I believe it has enormous potential to become a Major sport in the future.
This is a fun league! It was great seeing the Quad Cities back in the sport and a rivalry with the Barnstormers (and Cedar Rapids when they had teams) was worth the road trip.
Really cool to see a video for the IFL. It's amazing they're still around considering all they've been through, it really shows how much everyone involved cares about the league. They're great games to throw on and there's an old school charm to the lower budget broadcasts.
I'm honored to live in a state with three teams in the rattlers, wranglers and sugar skulls plus 5 hours from Vegas. Hopefully with the AFL, arena/ indoor can thrive nationally.
Being a season ticket holder for the Reading Express was an honor. They had some great years in the AIFA and IFL. It's a shame they folded because they had a great following. I grew up watching the AFL, but I prefer the IFL/AIFA interpretation of the game. There are fewer restrictions on who can blitz and who can go in motion. There are also no nets so footballs on kickoffs field goals are always going in the stands. If anyone is considering going to a game, do it! Tickets are reasonable, and after the game, you can go on the field and interact with the players. This is a good league that is only getting better.
I miss the Fairbanks Grizzlies. My son was about 8 years old at the time and he loved going down on the field after the games and tossing a football around on the gridiron. Very fond memories for me!
3:11 OV Greyhounds are a hidden dynasty of indoor football tbh, back to back championships with an undefeated season. Not to mention Wheeling's next football team, the Roughriders, also won a league championship before folding real quick. Now Wheeling has the Miners and they also look great, sadly the attendance still looks like shit so they'll probably fold too.
Go Barnstormers!!! I was a huge AFL nut growing up (to the point I even played AFL Fantasy Football a couple years), but I very much prefer the IFL over the AFL, simply because of the fact that the IFL is essentially just regular Outdoor Football played indoors, unlike the AFL with all it's different rules and such. You see much more rushing, and under center as opposed to the AFL. Most of all, I LOVE "The Deuce" rule. If a kickoff goes through the uprights, the kicking team gets two points. I would LOVE for the NFL to adopt this rule (several NFL kickers have been requesting it).
As a new fan of the league, I agree with you analysis of the football. I think people need to give this league a try as the games are exciting and fun but more importantly for families it’s affordable. Yes it’s not the NFL but what people don’t realize is you’re never gonna get closer to the action than what you will be in these games. my only concern for the league is a how to market these games to get new fans interested and put more asses in those seats, if they can do that this could be successful.

You left out the Rattler beating Sioux Falls in there 1st year in the league. They snapped the Storms IFL streak.

Arena Football League(OG Indoor Football League) is having a revival starting tomorrow but it been struggling
Struggling before they've even started? That doesn't sound good at all.
The Philadelphia soul and a few other teams been struggling but everyone else seems to have their shit together somewhat lol
Their first game was a classic this past weekend
Well this ages well
Not even a revival. Its a new league claiming to be something it is not.
I love the IFL and really appreciate any videos on it

Cool to see an IFL video. Been enjoying their content for a few months now. :)
I'm really happy you went into as much detail as you did. A lot of people don't know how intricate the history of the league is.
The IFL grew on me a few years back. I'm a Quad City fan.
I miss the Fairbanks Grizzlies. My son was about 8 years old at the time and he loved going down on the field after the games and tossing a football around on the gridiron. Very fond memories for me!

IFL, NAL, AIF, and AFL are all happening RIGHT NOW and are free to watch on youtube. PLEASE watch these games
I LOVE the 2 points rule for kick offs! Makes the kick offs interesting!
Go Barnstormers!!!

Rip the Columbus wild dogs expansion team announced July 2020 and never ever taken the and died a quit death
I watched four games today!! GO PANTHERS!!!
The indoor football league is great I wish they had a tv deal
They kinda do but only for the championship game…it is on CBS
@surferboymikey that was last years championship game. Will it be on CBS sports network again this year
Strikeforce is my favorite
you showed my brother!😀
More of these leagues need to start merging so they can grow
Too many egos + rule differences
I don’t know if you know all the info but you could do a whole video on why Billings suspended operations after winning back to back championships.
Been waiting on this one! Go Steamwheelers!!!
U should do a video about the A7FL
I miss the Spokane shock
The most stable indoor football league.

You should make an AFL video, they got started this week.
I have one in the works right now but may be talking to some Philadelphia souls players about what went down so I may be postponing the video a week
They aren’t the Massachusetts Pirates. they’re the Worcester pirates
I love that the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles don’t even get a mention because their whole idea sucked 😂.
And that whole idea became Fan Controlled Football, for what it's worth
Cfl plz!!!! Youre the best!
What is the difference between this and arena league football?
There is a running back in indoor no running back in arena
No bounce back nets in the endzones so more kicks end up in the stands.
Garcia Sharon Lewis Thomas Martinez Nancy
It would be better if it was a running game.
IFL is more run based yes
Sioux City didn't fold, they left league for new league) and Arizona beat Sioux Falls in 2016 IFL Title game,
2017 title game not 2016
Arena and IFL is whack. Always has been. Not real football but neither is the NFL anymore
