Shibuya is currently undergoing a major redevelopment, which they say happens once every 100 years. It started 12 years ago and is still quietly ongoing. They’re doing a complex reconstruction that includes several stations, not just above ground but up to four stories underground (and, amazingly, the trains are running as usual!). It’s set to be finished in 2027, so I definitely want to visit Japan then. We’ll surely be able to experience an incredible future city. 🏙😀

We were there two weeks ago, they had a ton of Smiskis at Yodobashi Akiba. It was the Sonny Angels that were hard to find, sold out everywhere.

Reco having matcha during the conveyor belt sushi . It's always on the table. Shinjuku is my fave in Tokyo ! Visit it on a night time too - best time to see the cat.. The coolest Tokyo fashion is seen there too. Also the Shinjuku scramble as I call it 😅 is way cooler than the Shibuya scramble, because locals (all in black) cross it. I miss Japan ! 61 days ain't enough! Going back for the winter festival in Sapporo.

I don’t know about Ichiran. My family thought it was extremely over rated. We didn’t enjoy it at all. If you’re in Osaka, DO NOT GO to Kura Sushi! Worst sushi I had in Japan! The best food I had there was walking into random restaurants! What we call Mom and Pop’s in the U.S. . There is a lot of great food in Japan, just be ready to go out of your comfort zone!
