Great shooting, our hunting season here in the UK has finished it wasn't much of a season as we have driven bird hunting here where private landowners put down 10000s of pheasants, partridges each year for shooting, the guns will all stand at marked out pegs and beaters drive the birds over them, but due too our covid regulations which the government put in place stopped all large group activities which included driven shoots as you are driven around the estates in specially built trailers one for the guns and one for the beaters
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I would love any assistance you can give me!
@Marshall Cruz i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
From illinois here, only 25y/o but wild pheasant hunts are always a crap-shoot year to year in my experience. some years you might have a hunt like this, and other years its kicking dirt, at least on our land. There are Tons of preserves here though with DNR and Pheasants Forever connections where you can always count on a good time, albeit planted birds. I wish we had better opportunity like the Dakotas for it!
for anyone that is getting a new dog/puppy for pheasant hunt, do NOT do standing corn, that is the worse way to train and hunt with a dog, can't watch them to correct them and plus all you're doing is teaching him poor holding skills(a puppy is always looking back at the master to make sure he feels safe, well if the puppy can't see you they panic), oh and you can't see where the pheasant drops if you even shoot one. I will never let my dog do standing corn. Plus if you paid them for guiding services which their website says they offer, then by law you can not hunt public lands or leased public lands. It should be law that once money or gifts have been exchanged for a paid hunt to exclusive private land then they can not hunt public lands at any time on the property. Tired of these lodges getting around the law and getting paid why their "friends/clients" use public lands. Sorry to be rude but its happening more and more and guides and lodges are getting by with it.
You make a good point, M Baiter. Similarly, it is risky to bring a lightly trained puppy to cover that is stiff with many pheasants. The pup is apt to go wild, running madly around in all that bird scent, never concentrating on one bird. It is possible to have too much of a good thing, especially when training a young dog.
Jak we śnie. Taka kraina jak u was to moje marzenie barzantowy raj .pozdrawiam z Polski.
Câinii sunt campionii ....🏆🥇
Great hunt

Thank you so much, you saved my ass !
@Max Jacoby no problem :)
Did public land pheasant hunting suck for anyone else this year? Seems like all the spots were way over-hunted by first timers due to covid.

What pizz poor gun safety on the
Kentucky hunter!!
Hands over muzzle-muzzle swinging all over🤢
Way too much talking and not enough hunting 🙂😜
South Dakota is going to have zero pheasants if they keep letting out of staters hunt.
What? Shooting roosters doesn't lower the population.
