He's certainly the most underrated Wide out in the history of the game. He's a first Ballot hall of famer and gets way too much disrespect from casual fans
I've been saying for years that Mike Evans is one of the best recievers in the NFL. He not only gets 1,000+ every season but in 2018 he got over 1,500 yards, over 1,300 in 2016 & over 1,200 in 2015. Not only does he produce yards but catching 14 td's in 2021, 13 td's in 2020, & 12 td's in 2016 & 2014. He did all this with qb's like Glennon, McCown, Fitzpatrick & Winston.
Yea because they think he going to leave the team that's why 😂 let's be real if he was a chief or a patriot he'd been in the hof conversation years ago
God it brings tears to my eyes to see this love for Mike… it’s so justified and being a bucs fans we have so much talent that doesn’t get the spotlight they deserve…because they play for Tampa
I think a lot of the reason he's overlooked is that's Evans is so mental and subtle with his routes. It just doesn't look like he's cutting, sitting, selling or accelerating half as hard as he actually is at a glance
The man has cooked some of the best DB's in the game. Richard Sherman, Jalen Ramsey, Marshon Lattimore, etc. Very deceptive combination of speed, strength, and hand-eye coordination.
Glad he's got Baker. They have a great connection, and everywhere that Baker is, the press is sure to go. Everybody is (finally) now seeing what Mike does. Now they are seeing him!
Whole league has been concussed about Mike, he's also fantastic to his fans.. Did this with how many different coaches in Tampa? Did it with 30-30 Jameis?
Tbf 30-30 jameis passed for a sh** ton of yards Id say there were more impressive seasons when he had 1000 yards but still nonetheless 9 years straight isnt just impressive its almost undoable
Mike only had 750 less yards then Calvin in his first 8 seasons same amount games played crazy same TDs too one of the most underrated and under appreciated Wr of all time Man never had a sub 1000 season and still on fire with baker as his QB
Mike Evans is never in anyone’s Top 5 receiver pick which makes him is the best. 9-1000 yard seasons in a row and going for 10 this year with his 10th year in the NFL. Jerry Rice has 14-1000 yard seasons in 20 years, Randy Moss has 10-1000 yard season in 15 years and Terrell Owens has 9 in 15 years. Larry Fitzgerald, Jimmy Smith and Jim Brown are the only one else with 9. Mike Evans also averages 15.3 yards per catch which makes him the highest average yard per catch in history.
He should have been hyped up his entire career,he's not the flashiest guy but he's the poster child of receiver consistency, like a modern Jerry Rice, as a bucs fan he's been my favorite NFL player since 2014 when he was a rookie
I’m not convinced that the Bucs have everything figured out enough to beat the Eagles, but that Slay-Evans matchup it’s going to be fun to watch. And if Philly wants to shut Mike Evans down, they still have Chris Godwin on the inside… And Trey Palmer can become 2023’s Scotty Miller
I'm a bit surprised that Evans was able to achieve 1000 yards three times with Brady throwing to him knowing full well that Godwin was Brady's preferred receiver on the bucs.
As of right now he’s he’s super consistent every sleep on him but he’s slowly walking himself to the Hall of Fame he has a super win he’s probably gonna finish his career with 14 15,000 yards and 100 and something touchdowns
He never gets the respect he deserves. Part of it is because of his humility. He took a pay cut so they could have more cap space. Man wants to win, and doesn’t have to tell others he’s a top 5 receiver, he knows it.
As a bucs fan he isn’t the best in the nfl but he is the most consistent and already has the best stats among active players including Julio and dhop and will be a first ballot
Don't know if he's the best but I'd take him over any other receiver in the league if I had to without question this is years overdue most underrated receiver ever
He has played with 7 different starting Qb's since 2014 and caught touchdowns from all 7 Devante Adams played his 1st 8 years with Aaron Rodgers imagine if Mike played his 1st 8 with Brady.
I like how now all of a sudden the media wants to talk about Evans because he is in a contract year. All the media has ever done and fans has either forget he exists or just downplay him. He was one of the best WRs and WILL be in the HoF...FIRE THE CANNONS
This video popped up in my algorithm and I had to say something. First of all, only idiots still watch ESPN. ESPN has been disrespecting this man for his entire career. They gave Johnny Manzel more love than they ever have Mike Evans, which is ironic, because if Mike Evans had not gone to Texas A&M at the same time, and turned Manzel's chaos into touchdowns, then no one would even know who Johnny Manzel is.

Some skills and attributes are more desired at some times in games and then not in other times. Don't think that there is any WR in the league that has EVERY skill and attributes.
Right now I think through 2 weeks Mike is #2 only behind Tyreek. JJ definitely 3rd. Not talking overall, just their impact on the first 2 games. Mike needs to stop getting disrespected because he isnt super fast like Tyreek or Agile like JJ. Mike and Godwin can catch just as good as JJ or Tyreek. JJ is the best route runner of all them and Tyreek obviously the fastest
@@R7wStandOverShitThe elite wrs all have their respective traits. Like jj agility and route running best in the game while Tyreeks speed and athleticism is the best in the game. Mike evans is the most physical wr in the game
He’s been the best in the league. He just plays for the Bucs. If he played with Patrick Mahomes, he would be treated like a GOD by the media. Hall of famer, most 1,000 yard seasons, right behind Jerry Rice.
people sleep on mike because he has never had that monster year.....he just has great years....consistently he gets his numbers no matter who is throwing to him...he plays dinged up and has always put up numbers....look at every great receiver in history they have a season or 2 in their first 8 years where they fell short....be it injury circumstances whatever the case....they didnt het to a 1000 yards....not mike....he probably has a good 5 or 6 years left in him of good production...look at his numbers now....and then tack on 5 more good years...he will be in elite company
He's certainly the most underrated Wide out in the history of the game. He's a first Ballot hall of famer and gets way too much disrespect from casual fans
FACT’S I’VE BEEN A FAN OF HIS SINCE COLLEGE I KNEW HE WOULD BE A SPECIAL TALENT WHEN HE GOT TO THE NFL HE’S CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED 💯🏈

Lets hold off on the first ballot talk, it depends on the competition- for example, he and Donald could very well retire at the same time

If Mike was on the Cowboys most media analysts would have him as the #1 receiver in the league. Give him some love.
Don’t tell him that he’s from TX lmao. We can’t lose him he needs to retire in the 813
If he was on the cowboys they would talk about him being the greatest of all time haha

Legitimately, this man has been so underrated throughout his entire career. It’s insane
I’m just sad it took 10 years for people to know… I’ve been saying he’s elite forever.
There’s a reason Mike Evans is my favorite all time player. Man can ball.
my favorite player of all time too

Humble, talented, stand-up guy.
Underrated year after year, but headed to the Hall of Fame!!! HUMBLE!
His stats are impressive, particularly given the majority of his career was with Jameis Winston.
He’s been underrated because he’s in a small market team like the bucs, if he played on the giants, they wouldn’t stop talking about him

Every single year since he's been in the NFL he had 1000 yards or more.
To every one saying Mike's OK but not best there is a reason they double cover him every. single. game.

Mike evans only had Brady for 2 years smh
They are just pointing out the obvious not even giving him his actual credit from other years game played. Giving silly the edge
not the best in the league but definitely the most underrated for the last 5 years
For context on the physical nature he has. Search mike evans Terrance newman. You'll see what he can really do.

Mike Evans good? No, Mike Evans is elite. Only WR with more yards per route run in the NFL after the first two games is Tyreek Hill.
Wish Chiefs can sign him if Buc let him walk away next year. Just imagine Mahomes, Kelce and Evans trio
I took Michael Thomas instead of Mike Evans. Biggest mistake in my draft
