Been a BUCS fan ever since I moved to Florida when I was 3 years old from Bosnia from the civil war going on and was brought to America with my parents and brother to escape the genocide going on when i was born and that being one side of my family is Muslim and it was a mass genocide against the Muslims or the Islamic religion... So came here for safety and better opportunities for my family... And ever since I could remember watching football, and was here in Tampa Bay area since moving here, been a fan my whole life knowing football. And remember watching our first Superbowl win in the '02 season, and will always be a BUCS fan for life, and like you said this new addition and new line and our picks in this draft were very smart picks especially for getting Clancey over a QB like Will Levis shows our management teams picks are always very smart picks for future of our team, not some insane pick the will help partially when we always draft very well for the past 10 years with Licht as GM, we make smart picks and it shows, we making our defense younger and faster especially with the.speed and quickness with Calijah Clancey, will forsure improve our DLine, so making our defense even stronger then they were, instead of scattering picks and making it Mid all around, make defense very strong and offense is still very good with the recievers we have,.the line we have, last year then.OLine was just ripped.apart with injuries and Donavan smith giving holding flags every game and setting the highest record holding calls in the league last year costing us major games, it's been fixed up and our new punter and kicker are also very good. Jake punting is a stud especially that one play where ball flew over and he ran picked it up, and ran left even tho his kicking foot is his right foot, and punted the ball into the 5 yard line and was onlymcalled back cus of a flag for a lineman being to far up field...

Feel Baker was always a good QB that had the bad luck of being a Brown and a Panther. So him ending up as a Bucc with a lot of great weapons and a great O-line. Im confident in him.
He had a top 10 o-line and weapons for most of his career in Cleveland
I love Baker. I wish him nothing but the best. And…he had one of the best offensive lines in football. He had the best backfield in football (Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, are you kidding me!?!). And he had at various points Jarvis Landry, OBJ, Austin Hooper, David Njoku, Donovan Peoples-Jones (very underrated guy). So let’s not hate on the Browns just because it’s an easy target.

Here is something to ponder about Baker Mayfield. The Bucs have Mike Evans. Evans specialized in making Johnny Football a Heisman winner. How is that? When a play breaks down, Evans is the most dangerous receiver in the NFL. His jump ball ratio is amazing. He wins a lot of jump ball type plays. Mayfield is a jump ball thrower like Manziel, but better in other areas as well. It will be interesting to see if Baker will fling towards Evans all the time. I would.
Cons is Mike Evans isn't getting younger and we shouldn't strain him by giving a majority of his targets via scramble. The DBs will use Mike's body for target practice when he goes for a lame duck jump ball.
@@beastmode218 sucks but true, mike can smoke any coverage in the league but you don’t want to have such heavy reliance on him. with godwin and gage in the mix though hopefully baker can work and include everyone, i felt like TB lost that part of his game this last season
Where Baker excels is throwing to multiple targets, it keeps the opposing team offguard, and mixing up the pass and run game.
Told to force feed the ball to one receiver who rarely practiced or ran the correct routes caused Baker issues in Cleveland. Baker is always prepared & likes to throw on the run out of the pocket. He will will throw more to receivers he trusts. 👍😊

Brady's accuracy last year was horrible, not to mention his lack of mobility.I believe Mayfield will do well this year as he has never had the weapons he now has in Tampa.
He can move inside the pocket as well… he can move and extend plays but he has an ability to step up and slide that if Kyle Trask had… he would be the guy

1:23 That game was awesome. After a bad first quarter, Baker went like 23 straight completions, minus the spike to stop the clock. The final winning drive reminded me a lot of his final winning drive in the Rams vs Raiders game.
I think he had like 5 passing TD's in the second half. I can't remember. One of only a couple who had that many in a half that year, and Baker had two games with that many in a half that year, I think. Wish I remembered so I could say with full confidence.
He had 4 against the titans in the first half I think the following game after that crazy back and forth against burrow.
Man I miss baker in Cleveland.

Baker is going to be great. If he ever gets a team that has just a little consistency he can be great. He was hurt his last year in Cleveland. No one looked good with Matt ruhl and when he got to the rams with a great coach that believed in him he was really good. Just don't try and make him stay in the pocket that's not his style of play
I can think of a lot of other passes that could've been included in this video. Many that are better than a few included on this video.
He had a bunch of awesome passes against that game against the Bengals 1:23, but Baker always shredded the Bengals. One of my favorites was a touchdown pass in 2020 (I think) during that awesome MNF game against the Ravens where he tossed the ball up, like a fake toss, and then caught it and threw it down field for a TD. Then against the Titans in 2020, he had a couple of great long TD passes. A couple against the Colts.
Not to mention he's pretty good at getting defenses to jump offsides, and great at fake handoffs.

Mayfield is a great pickup for the Bucs. Not as tall as TB12 but has a lot more mobility to escape pressure. Too bad playoff Lenny bailed. This team is still built to win now.

I’m a Bucs fan that will be rooting for baker if he wins the starting job. That said, there is an alarming number of his highlights being throws into one on one situations with wr’s that have to outmatch the defender. He isn’t exactly threading the needle when he throws into coverage most of the time; he’s just getting extremely lucky. Reminds me of Jameis.

With time and protected pocket he can make those outside shoulder throws that’s good. He won’t have that problem in Tampa Bay. They invest heavily into their OL and will do why it take to make sure that added help from FB/TEs support the QB when needed. It’s up to Baker now. Get r done. Lol

TBH this was a bad move. We should have just played Trask and saved the money. Our Cap is insane and we need to wrangle it in. This move was so we have a soft landing instead of a crash because the organization knows their are a lot of fair weather buccaneers fans.

Tbh @ 45 sec marker play is exactly why he’s a problem. Has to make that pass to the RB and be ready to get up and get after the next play. Not everything has to be deep and downfield. A big difference between him and Brady I think. Brady was best because he could control the huddle and team. Run the offense and really just be a leader on every play. The communication was really important from Brady’s perspective. Brady wasn’t afraid to go down or take the hit either. Wasn’t trying to force places like baker was doing. You have to clean the game up. I want to see baker in Tampa this year be successful I do as a Bucs fan. However that being said. Baker mayfield he has to play with similar style of Brady than Winston. 🤷♂️

Baker had some great moments but when it mattered the most he couldn’t do it. He will be in the league for awhile but won’t be anything great
As a panthers fan. He was just not it… constantly having balls batted down, inaccurate with almost every throw. And didn’t care about the fans being upset with how bad he played. Hope trask works out for y’all
