this, and Lavonte David. our team has always been laughed at and disrespected, even after winning the super bowl people still counted us out. tom coming to tampa only showed the championship mentality and culture our team and fan base needed. the blueprint has been given and we have plenty of veterans like Mike who know what it takes to make a long run for the Super Bowl. last years playoff run was just the beginning, with the new OC, we're going to get a lot of movement on the line so we aren't going to be telegraphing plays, which means we will be hard to predict, unlike the past years of our offense, anyone who watched on the couch could guess run/pass play cause our offense was predictable. we'll have a lot of motion so Baker will need to read the defense well, and hopefully Mike will have a HUGE year. I predict him and Chris will have a great year since they won't need to work on continuity from the previous year and just focus on the new playbook, and with the addition to Jalen McMillan at WR3, I see him beating out Palmer and Thompkins, so our 13 14 and 15 are going to be scary this year, top trio WR in the league, imo.

I remember that draft. I was locked in on Mike Evans and worked the overnight shift. I was driving to work listening to the draft and parked right before announcing pick 6. I rushed to clock in and the guy I was relieving met me at the door and said "Y'all got Evans!" while laughing because he knew I wanted him and that I had been saying he was the one making Johnny Football look good.
Bucs win superbowl and the two players that I was excited most were evans and LVD. They played though the worst times for this team and finally got a ring.

He has never been a top 5 WR and in some year he not even top 10 talent. there has always been players that have done more and done more when it matters the most. Mike Evens did have it time to shine while he was on his rookie contact when he was talked about more then today but never became that guy/difference maker. i will say thou that he has been one of the most consistent WR but if he make the hall of fame it will be after most of bigger names go in first so maybe 15-20 years after he retires.

It’s straight up ridiculous to call Calvin Johnson a TOP 5. The dude QUIT when he was 30. Crybaby, waaaa I don’t have a QB. Waaaa we don’t have a RB because Barry ALSO QUIT. And the season he did play? ONE FLUKE of a year. Look at any Rams WR, Heck Torrey Holt was faster to 11K THAN BOTH Calvin and Harrison. And Harrison has an asterisk because he had Peyton tossing him the ball. Of course he gonna ball. Mike Evans is LOCKED in at 4. Mike has packed stats that NOONE in the history of football has done. Lance Alworth is 5 btw.

i cant agree with you at all that he's underrated and is a top 5 WR. He has never been a top 5 WR and in some year he not even top 10 talent. there has always been players that have done more and done more when it matters the most. Mike Evens did have it time to shine while he was on his rookie contact when he was talked about more then today but never became that guy/difference maker. i will say thou that he has been one of the most consistent WR but if he make the hall of fame it will be after most of bigger names go in first so maybe 15-20 years after he retires.

That year I guess would be a toss up but mike was a top 10 not top 5. In no order top 5 was Julio jones, Dandre Hopkins, Antonio brown, tyreek hill, juju.

Respect. If M1K3 was drafted by the cowboys or one of those large market teams with a rich history he is no doubt a first ballot hall of Famer. Being on those types of teams would have got him more all pros.
