One day I was driving just north of Saranac Lake NY, when I took a blow out front and left. I had no choice but to jack the car up and go under to get a look at the job, but as I was inspecting the tyre, the jack gave way and the vehicle was right on top of me, crushing my right side. No sooner than that the vehicle lifted off the dirt and I felt something grip my right ankle and drag me out away from it. As I entered the fresh air, the sunlight blinded me, but not enough to make out a figure that must of been something like a good nine or ten feet tall and possibly five feet wide and covered in hair. I instinctively covered my eyes. and reached in to my shirt pocket to retrieve my shades, put them on and hauled my self up. There was nobody around, but there was a bit of a stench in the air. Forty years later, I still believe a Bigfoot saved my life and that they can be something other than the fiercesome creatures they can be made out to be.
I have heard there are 2 groups of big foot... one good, other not so much

I was raised around Sasquatch and Bigfoot as I called them and I’m gonna tell you something. Currently 64 years old and there’s one rule about them. You never lie about your experiences because, if you do, they’ll come out and reach out and Touch you if you keep lying about them, they’ll make sure you don’t go home! This Rule was Explained to me as I lay on my face, stuck halfway under a wooden slat fence Screaming into the dirt and pine needles and none of the other Scouts or Scout Leaders were responding. I stopped as His grip tightened around both ankles because I had been lying about “Them”; Out loud in the campsite. Don’t Lie about Your Experiences! Voodoo clear.
I really appreciate listening to all of these stories. This last one really was quite entertaining and very humorous. It’s wonderful when i realize i am laughing out loud here in the quietness of my house with my dear little dog laying beside me in my recliner. Your stories make old age happier and more bearable. It isn’t easy being alone when i so enjoy having someone to talk too but i know there are so many elders out there that end up finishing their lives alone and i never thought about this when i had someone but it hits me like a ton of bricks now.

If I am not wrong which I might be the spotsville monster isn't that not too far from the East end of Louisville because when I was 13 and about 2007 me in about five friends were in valley station the very last neighborhood off of Miller Lane and it took about a 30-minute walk through all these woods that led to this pond and we just sat there and had a fire and hung out till about 3:00 in the morning and when we were leaving walking back we had one of them old flashlights that kept going out but you could smack it on the back and it would come on the very last time it came on there was a creature that was literally standing about 3 ft from me on the side of the trail it was at at least about 7 and 1/2 ft tall but it just stood there it was Harry had red eyes and there have been a few other encounters within 5 mi of their the woods right there connect all the way to bullitt county where that finding Bigfoot show went to the people's property and there have also been a few other encounters on Scotts Gap where we were we could see the Gene Snyder freeway from the pond but it was a good 30 minute walk from this neighborhood but we ran away and it didn't chase us it didn't do anything there was no smell that I can remember but I will never forget that

@@DixieCryptid Hi again, I never sleep more than 2 hours at a time. The pain is so bad,even with the meds. I am so grateful for your podcast and look forward to them but I know you put a lot of time and hard work in to them.please don"t push yourself more.I listen to the back ones over and enjoy them again. I have one pug left , Sadie she is going on sixteen years old,she sleeps with me. She is almost blind. I think she is hanging in there for me. They usually don't live over 13 years . I'm an animal person,grew up in S.D. and had a beautiful speckled pet hen. So enjoy watching them too. Àny way I look forward to the stories, They are great!!! Thank you !

That last story: The woman at home was a monster and the woman in the woods a different kind of monster so I wonder which was the worst monster.

@@DixieCryptidI think that's a very believable story I've met several southern women who are super overbearing with their men. Why they don't leave is beyond me but it sounds more like again 80 acres and a tractor and anything a man could want minus that nagging old woman
@@AudaciousAmber they marry their mother (figuratively) they need someone to tell them what to do. More commonly known as a Beta male. And some women seek out men like that and they're both miserably happy 😂
