Ford Cheritory 😆, good one! but yeah, I love this car, I think it will do massively well - price is forever gonna remain the Mecha of things, but definitely people are gonna buy in on these. I don't think you can really compare fuel consumption unless it is on the same test track or in the same scenario. I recently took a JHB to Cape Town trip in a Tiggo 8 Pro with the 1.6 turbo with 145kw. With 4 passengers and all our luggage we averaged 7.6 litres per 100kms which is really good.
You miss out on discussing sound system (whether just saying it has (brand name) sound system with 6 speakers and subwoofer and then playing a song for 3 seconds)

Ford cheaped out on the new Territory and then asking that price is actually ridiculous. The previous Territory came standard with a 4L straight 6 engine and that thing had power and the sweetest sound, not to forget the ST variant. The tech it had for the time was actually fire and also if I remember correctly, it was a 7 seater.
I would get this in black in Ambiente spec. For R570 000 its good value. Ford will have better resale and service than the Chinese brands.
We live in different times really, American cars are now built in china who would have thought.
