  • Does The Ford Territory Titanium Drive Better Than Before? [Car Review]
    The 2023 Ford Territory Titanium is now the base variant in the Philippines, with the 2023 Ford Territory Titanium X taking the top spot. In this Filipino car review, we take a good look at the next gen 2023 Ford Territory Titanium to see how well it drives. The next gen Ford Territory Titanium is now bigger and more powerful than before, and it also feels more solid and sturdy to drive. This is due to the 2023 Ford Territory Titanium's more robust steering feel, which now gives an impression of the size of the 2023 Ford Territory Titanium. The cabin space is worthy of a Ford, similar to the 2023 Ford Everest Titanium. The Ford Territory now looks like a Chinese SUV, since it has the same design cues as the Chery Tiggo 8 pro or the Changan SUVs in the Philippines. We get more tech and features in the 2023 Ford Territory Titanium though, even if the 2024 Ford Territory titanium lost some niceties like the panoramic sunroof and adaptive cruise control.

    same struggle about the infotainment. we have to dive into it again and again for it resets back to its former setting

    I agree about the physical buttons because the disadvantage that i see in a centralize systems control in the ford vehicles' touchscreen technology is "you have to look to where you are pressing" than to just "feel" it like with those that have physical buttons.

    Thanks reygan for another unbiased review. Yesterday we test drive this ford territory. Our first impression it feels massive. Interior is very luxurious but me and my wife looks midgets inside because of its size. The break and throttle feels too responsive that sometimes i pressed the break pad a bit harder we came to sudden stop. Looks wise interior is very nice. But the exterior i still feels the previous gen territory looks better. But its just me

    Hi reygan, for 1.3M what would you recommend for a crossover? Im choosing between coolray, territory, corolla cross and xpander cross.

    I asked this on SoJoo’s channel during your media drive so I wanted to get your take as well; space wise on the Territory (front & rear seats) is it comparable to something like the Tucson or CRV like another review on RUclips mentioned?

    • @ReygansRides
      @ReygansRides  6 месяцев назад

      Territory is more spacious than Tucson. Haven't driven the CRV yet so can't compare.

    You can just swipe the infotainment from left to right to access the drive modes. I only learned this from fellow next gen owners. Correct me if I'm wrong but the user manual did not have that bit of info.

    I'll give you my opinion about this the reason why the next generation ford territory starts all of it systems back to it's normal setting is to prevent drivers not to go overboard with the power in terms of the performance of the car after you use it for the next driver not to be scared to use the vehicle because turbocharged engines after all produce a lot of power please take this statement with a grain of salt because this is just my opinion

    • @bongski5008
      @bongski5008 Год назад

      Yeah, his pet peeve is a minor inconvenience of the driving mode resetting it to normal mode after a ride _which_is_a_sensible_default instead of the fact that this model only allows change to a different drive mode via freakin screen.

    • @scalemodeltutor9841
      @scalemodeltutor9841 Год назад +1

      I think it’s quite understandable if the settings go back to default each time you use, that’s not the issue. The problem is, you need to go through the several icons to access the settings, it doesn’t makes sense while other brands do have physical buttons for it or at least they should have added a 1 touch icon on the screen for quick access.

    1. Ford should've released this as the Equator Sport in our country, especially that this is a completely different car (not an evolution of the older model)
    2. The pricing of the new model is a bit much. Especially the Titanium X. At 1.6M for that variant, you're better off choosing a non-Ford vehicle. The Titanium should've been given a panoramic sunroof.
    3. Space is great though. Class leading, possibly.

    I felt sorry for the 1st gen owners of the territory. They have to deal with the CVT.. why did not ford make it DCT in the 1st place?
    The design is so tame. The 1st gen looks more aggresive and brusko.
    Seems ford is experimenting with this car..
