Another neat museum Brian. You really have some cool places around. The open cockpit and parts of the plane were really cool. If you get the area, you really need to visit the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. You would love it but make sure you give yourself a whole day to see it. I had to stop in and see this one. I recall flying as a young boy from Germany to the USA in a four prop TWA plane back in the late 1950's. Thank you for bringing me back in time.
We noticed that in researching Kansas City. That is...so...cool. "Stop monkeying around. This place is only 45 more minutes...let's go!" (I feel Carl's voice from Santos Chronicles "let's go-ing" you!) I feel like some 60's jet set lounge music would be perfect in this museum. Just. Awesome.
I really enjoyed the TWA museum. The people there are full of history about the company. TWA HQ and central hub was in KC for many years before moving to St. Louis and even after that I think the training was mostly done out of KC. There’s a lot of hands on stuff there; but b/c of COVID looked all taped off

They had a lot of flight memorabilia; including a plane and tons of models. That was really cool. Just imagine what kind of trouble you could have gotten into if you had more than 45 minutes. The cockpit was really cool! Seen that on a ton of old crash movie footage. Love all those old plane models hanging upside down on the wall. Live the timeline cases. The uniform changes through the decades was cool.
