  • Join me today at the TWA museum in Kansas City Missouri. I stumbled upon an extra museum today on my Kansas City Adventure. This was a fun Airline Museum with lots of TWA history. I was a little late arriving here, it's almost closing time they were nice enough to let me join an on going tour. The museum tour guides and volunteers were retired TWA employees mostly flight attendants, so I’m told. It was a fun visit to the TWA museum if your ever in town it's worth stopping at.

It was a fun museum and I agree having flight attendants lead the tours was pretty cool, you could ask questions that only they would know like did you actually where paper uniforms. The answer was yes but that didn't last long. Thanks for watching 👍

They had a lot of flight memorabilia; including a plane and tons of models. That was really cool. Just imagine what kind of trouble you could have gotten into if you had more than 45 minutes. The cockpit was really cool! Seen that on a ton of old crash movie footage. Love all those old plane models hanging upside down on the wall. Live the timeline cases. The uniform changes through the decades was cool.

I really enjoyed the TWA museum. The people there are full of history about the company. TWA HQ and central hub was in KC for many years before moving to St. Louis and even after that I think the training was mostly done out of KC. There’s a lot of hands on stuff there; but b/c of COVID looked all taped off

@@SomeplaceOrAnother Good enough even all displayed items look new most of the colors are still as vibrant as it would have been. Considering they're exposed to light and back then with flash 📸
