You're an indie game developer working late night to make your new horror game: Asylum the 8 pages. However, something goes wrong, and you detect a wild Jhon coming to stop you! The first part of the game is a FNAF rip-off where you defend your project against Jhon, then after 6 am you get kidnapped by him and brought to a generic asylum where you search for 8 notes before entering a looping hallway with an edgy story. Then you get jumpscared and die

Hey John, I wanted to let you know something important. I was playing this game called "Death Road to Canada", which is an Oregon Trail-style zombie game. I made a custom character based off of you, and you were pretty bad ass. You were the only one to survive a zombie siege, and after that you constantly outran zombies, and even braved a burning house in able to get supplies. However, one thing did go wrong. You got burned a bit during the fire, so you were a bit injured afterwards with no medical supplies. You came across an injured moose along the road, and decided to put it out of its misery. However, when you went to shoot it, it suddenly attacked you, and you died in combination of your previous injuries. I wanted to let you know this so you never try to shoot a moose with a shotgun during the zombie apocalypse. You're welcome.

I’m loving these intro’s man. And oh lord this game, what would we do without the husband am I right?
I love planning out candle light dinners with the main course being a pepperoni pizza... on a table with no tray underneath.
I have a horror sleeve on my right arm & on my forearm I have the Strangers.
I just started the video, but this game is already more painful than getting the tattoo.
There is a game thats based off the strangers that actually good too, its a pity this was the one he found lol.

Ummm... at 5:07 this game mentions a "Peter G." AND this is made in FPS creator. This also has poor translations and is not very good, despite positive reviews on Steam. Is it just me or does this scream "GD Nomad under a new account because his old username is toxic"?

While this game is shitty, I’d say it has too many environments and the plot makes too much sense to be a GDnomad original. Plus you can’t get drunk for no reason, so you can tell it’s not the real deal.
One thing that I want to really see in a home invasion game like this is for the invader to systematically start cutting off your options of escape.
Like at the start you have 5 or so different ways you can escape but the longer you take the more the invader starts to remove those options like slashing your tires, cutting off the power, etc.

I like how the garage door opens at the end of the house sequence. Instead of being pulled up like a normal garage door, it like compresses like one of those window shades. The top doesn't move, but the rest of it shrinks up XD

“You Dead!” Just in case you assumed otherwise with all of the blood splattering across the screen, you know.
This game has a lot of things that just seem sloppy or awkward. It interferes with the pacing and distracts from the dread players should feel. The character is a woman home alone in the middle of the night and people are trying to break in and kill her. That should be terrifying and make the player feel vulnerable.
Thankfully, John always has plenty of entertaining things to say, even when the game he’s playing does not. I think all this game says is, “If there is an emergency, too bad. You dead.”

Normally your live action intros are cute and campy and derives its humor from that. This was just surreal humor and I thoroughly enjoyed it

Imagine a game actually based on The Strangers, the film.
You pretty much never see the not-so-scary bad guys, since they're always standing behind you and then vanishing before you can actually see them, so they never scare you, they just make poor attempts to scare a now non-existent audience.

Omfg the intro had me screaming. I loved the movie the Strangers, I watched it with a bunch of friends in highschool and we all got scared. This, however, did not have the same effect.

Gotta say, this game takes you on a journey, man. From your house, soon to be intruded upon by some killer, to fleeing that house in your car without first attempting to call the police, to getting your car totaled by the killer's smaller car, to an abandoned house where the killer probably vacations. Also, that intro to the video was great.

I like what you did in the beginning, that was awesome
I feel like the dev got a new idea that they liked more half way through development, and just decided to add that as the second act of the game, even if it feels entirely out of place. Like I feel like the second the driving cutscene starts is where one game ends, and the second the player gets run off the road is the start of another game.

As terrible as this game is, I think you misunderstand how bad the smell of one corpse can get, John. XD Even if it's as small as a cat.
Ricky Torres, I've killed cows, chickens, goats and sheep and dealt with dead cats in the car engine and rotting in a kitchen cupboard for a few months. I can say with confidence that if you leave something dead for a few days, the smell _is_ horrible.
Ricky Torres, omnivorous and carnivorous corpses tend to smell slightly worse. Also, I'm not sure it's fair to say the stench isn't as bad as it's made out to be if I'm speaking from my own experience. :P I personally wasn't present for the dead cat in the cupboard scenario, but my driver was, and he's pretty seasoned in dealing with horrific smells. But he was on the verge of throwing up because of one dead cat.
Chickens have barely any muscle on them, and tiny organs, and rotting fat in my opinion doesn't smell as bad. Besides, in a chicken coop, the most overwhelming smell is poo. The stink of a hundred chickens' poo sort of masks the stink of a few dead chickens.
Well but compared to the pile of rotting and dead corpses I doubt one that still resembles a human would be so much worse. If anything the pile of gray human matter should be the real issue

As someone who was raised drinking tea with grandma every morning she visited, I must say that kettles and teapots are very different. (Yes I'm trying to sound posh ironically. Though they are different.) Teapots dont go on the stove they are usually Porcelain used to store hot tea for brewing and serving. Kettles are just for heating up hot water. And can be used for tea or coffee.
