Always haters and people saying there this and there that in the comments, even tho help and tips are good the negativity is just uncalled for.( So for all the haters, grow up and comment on a justin whats his face video.) Excellent video my man. Showing people who dont want to pay a couple of hundred to get it done how to do it themselves. And also reviewing a cheap product. Thank you sir from ireland.
I have this my self and this will only give you 1 year of protection. And don't think that because oh you have applied ceramic coating on your car you do t have to maintain it. It will last less if you dont maintain it. Yes you still have to take extra precautions when washing your vehicle. If you want it to last. For those that say that you dont have to wax your car are wrong you still have to apply some sort of spray sealant to keep the life of the ceramic last longer.
1 yr into it, looks good, 20 yr old truck, used on black bumper and mirrors, worked perfect,
Great
I bought two bottles of Mr Fix Ceramic coating liquid. I play to do my C6 Corvette. This is the first video I've seen saying to use a damp towel during the application.
Thanks for your demonstration, it really helped me figure out how to use this product and the real effect .
+Seon Grant Great I hope your happy with it.
Many thanks to show us how to use the coating!! The instruction is horrible, but looking at you do the job, it cannot get better than that 8-)
Ceramic coating a car that isn't decontaminated is useless...
1: Clean to perfection
2: Decontaminate with clay and product
3: Paint correction if necessary (car with more than 2k miles)
4: Rub down with 90-99% Isopropal alcohol and be sure there are no water drops anywhere.
5: Apply coating in an environment that is as clean as possible (inside garage, vacuum garage first and put water on floor) remove when it starts sticking when you rub it with a microfiber.
6: Wait for it to cure for at least 48 hours (inside) preferably in a hot climate (don't apply in winter conditions)
7: Don't wash for 1 week
Result: Ceramic coating that won't flake off and damage the paint.
LoverOfPhotography get a life u numpty
What if the car is brand new like mines? Only got 600 miles on it.Im more into front end damage from rock chips, should i go with 3m protection film ?
8. Make sure your chickens are facing north
9. Open doors to a 11.5 degree angle
10. Point 2 fans at each other on low
11. Point two mirrors at each other to catch light
12. Point 2 radios at each other playing the same radio station for obvious reasons.
Exactly
More importantly.. When applying the stuff.. Even simple car wax.
ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES
@LoverOfPhotography Its not just cars with more than 2k miles that need paint correction, most zero mileage cars come with love marks from the factory or dealer.
Lovely jeep buddy😊👍💎
Even a new Zero miles car will have love marks from the manufacturer, dealer and transporting that need to be cleaned and made good.
I do this for a living.
0. PUT ON GLOVES.
1. Rinse, clean the car. Use a jet wash machine for every rinse.
2. Clean it again with snow foam and rinse.
3. Tar & glue , metal deposit remover and clay.
4. Clean again with car shampoo (not wash n wax) and rinse.
5. Correct paint imperfections with compound.
6. Wipe panels with IPA and do a final inspection.
7. Apply coating.
Throw away the microfibre cloths... They are now unusable for anything without scratching.
initial outcome looks great, keep us posted!
Beautiful job!
I've tested mr fix and other products side by side. Nanobond was thicker and not nearly as runny as mr fix but it did harden up and took longer. Nanobond will be my choice under ceramic pro of Course
Which Nanobond. The one on Amazon or the one on Alibaba from Zixilai.
Alibaba Supplier "Zixilai" says that the Nanobond available on Amazon is fake.
Nice and simple video.
Hi great video, I haven’t had time to apply it to my car yet so I put some on a test panel that I have , did half of the bonnet and then dripped 3 drops on the other side and just let them dry, the next day the 3 drops were rock hard and the side I did properly water is just running off with a excellent shine, but I will keep a eye on it to see it’s durability, so why pay loads of money for something that is doing the same job as this, small tip for you try using some tape round sensitive areas 👍
+Ecogreen01 Thanks. Def agree why spend money on other products when this works well. I also think doing it yourself is the way to go, I have heard of prices 800 and up. I should have taped, but was careful. Thanks again.
EcogreenDetail what exactly is a sensitive area?
Good video, thanks.
@EvilBatman
Did you use it on plastic parts? There are a lot of plastic trim on my Mini Cooper i want to cover it with this :)
No not on plastic. There are products for glass and plastic.
I had good results with this stuff. Used on my dad’s car. Garaged but still driven in rain, snow, salt etc. washed once every 2 months. 6 months later it still beads very tight, paint is very glossy. But on my car, which is parked outside 24/7, washed 4 times since application, water doesn’t bead as tight. I don’t believe it holds up well to acid rain...still looking for a wax that can last for my car.
Don't use wax on Ceramic Coating. Instead use Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer once a month. It a miracle spray for coated cars. Shine gets retained, Water beads off really tight and it also fills swirls to great extant.
I can also seal aluminum wheels with it?
I had a bottle of that ,was good enough for my wheels lol never even bothered with water, just put it straight on waited a few minutes and wiped over. Seems to have worked ok
I hope it works, since it is water activated. Hopefully the cloth was wet.
@@EvilBatman yeah it worked fine lol dry wheels and dry cloth ha
beautiful 😎
Hi! thanks for posting this great video. I just followed your directions on my car, and it went fine. But, there is still some of that "oily residue" that remains... almost like streaks/swirls that I can see when looking at it from different angles. You recommend wiping it down again in 1-2 days? Or should I try to get a buffer like you did at the end? Thanks for your help.
I did use a buffer very very lightly to remove the residue. The reason I used the buffer was to reduce the chance of lasting streaks if it hardened.
Great video 👍👍🙏🙏
Use also hydrosilex easier to use and gonna be good to your car after you applied that 9H MR-FIX to make it more last, and use it as your maintenance.
Good to know, thanks
What do you think of the coating in extremely cold country like Canada. I mean I will be applying this during the summer when the temperature is around 20 degree C but the temperature in my place could go down to about -45 degree C during winter.
I would think it's better to apply in the warmer months. I dont recall the temp guidelines but if you apply it in a garage where you dont have to wear a parka, then maybe, but you might be better off waiting.
First time i've seen anyone buff the car after the coating. I may try this .
It was very very very light pressure. I did it just to get some of the residue off. It was probably the same as wiping it with a cloth, but easier.
@@EvilBatman I agree , I just did the hood on my girlfriends Audi , This stuff works very well but it doesn't seem to flash well . Still testing it .
The only reason he buff the Jeep is because he let it sit for to long 5 minutes is to long now to correct his mistake his buffering the Jeep lol
Hey mate! Fantastic video. Just wanted to check, just in case the camera affected it...did it add some extra gloss at all?
+Tilan123 The Jeep is brand new, but I would say yes....it looks fantastic with great glossy shine and stays clean for days. I will be doing done videos in the next week or 2, so you will be able to see it with 3 months of washes and off roading.
EvilBatman wow cheers for the quick reply. Did you apply things like reload afterwards? I’m assuming the coating is still going strong?
+Tilan123 no other applications or products. Yes still looking great.
great video, tho I've read my directions a few times as watching your video, and it doesn't state wet the application cloths during application. With your experience, does this wetting of the wipes provide better coating as opposed to dry. I have yet to apply this because its winter where I reside. I purchased 3 bottles and I'm curious. I, as you, want the best coat. Thank you in advance.
Thanks, first thing is I wouldn't do it in the winter the warmth helps it cure. The instructions I had said to wet the area....but i had seen videos with the applicator wet and some with spray.I did both ways on 2 different cars and I liked the wet applicator better. But in the end it's your choice which you feel comfortable with getting an even coating.
I think i will buy this to test out long term durability. The price is amazing
Thanks for watching. I think for 10 bucks if I get a year out of it...its a steal. I am hoping for it to protect against scratches on the front end so I did do a second coat. Good luck with yours.
Ditto and its Just glorified Wax and it wont hurt it,, All the $50 Ceramic Products are complaining of course..if it last 6 mos? worth it.. Go back to using ICE SPRAY WAX after your biweekly Car washes,,
Dont use the cloths.
Hi man! cool video! I just have one question, since you've mentioned something about the cloth of the product. I got this same 9h mr fix, but mine came without the white cloth.. just the bottle and the blue sponge thing... what could I use as a replacement for that white cloth?
Thanks!
+Javier Appelgren On my other car I used a chamois cut into a small section and it worked well, except used a bit more than the white cloth and was much softer. Some kits come with a suede applicator.
What a good video EvilBatman good job, please just one question, I miss one part. When I apply Mr. Fix 9H I let it dry for how long? after passing the microfiber cloth? do i have to remove it quick?
About 5 min depending on what the temperature is. I gave it a few minutes after I did multiple cross hatching to apply .
Do not let it sit for 5 minutes if you do your going to have the same problem this dude had the solution harder to much now he has to used the buffer to correct his mistake of letting sit for to long
how many months of protection?compare to synthetic sealant, which has longer protection?
Hello, how could I keep this seal? Any special product? I only wash it with shampoo and a microfiber cloth? Thanks
Hi! Love your videos! I have two questions but as my english is not very good I don't know if you already answered in the video:
1) How many car can you coat with one bottle of ceramic coating? (A car of average size)
2) And why do you spray water on the little tower before dipping the ceramic coating? I've watched a lot of video about the process but it's the first time I see about spraying water on the tissue.
Thanks in advance :)
+kokoloko12398 thank you so much. I have seen other videos that don't show the spraying also, but the instructions say to do so, because it is water activated. One bottle could do almost 2 cars. I used 1.5 bottles on a dodge charger and the jeep and that was doing 2 coats on the hoods and front fenders.
Thanks for your answer :)
Hello, nice video and a very good job you've done. I want to do the same thing with my Audi A3 wich I polished (polish&wax compound) recently and it had kind of wax protection but it washed away overtime but the car is still clean without scratches . So what is your car looking now after applaying this? Are there any 'issues' with the paint?
Thanks eitherway :))
Go to my channel and check out the 5 month update and it will show how it has held up. Thanks
EvilBatman Thank you very much.
The problem is I live in dusty area, how can I finish the job?! Should I finish the job one by one???!!!
Wondering how this is working out for you... just received my bottle today and just curious how yours is holding up. Reading the conflicting comments of ours or the more expensive stuff that’s out there. Is our 10.00 cheap stuff enough? Thanks!!
+Eric Keen it has been a couple of months and is great. Yes it is less expensive, yes it is not going to last as long or protect as well, but I used this as a choice for those who do not have the money for a pro which I have seen at 800 plus to apply it. There are other products that are priced at 250 for the bottle and I am sure are better with more active ingredients. Only you know what fits your budget, just make sure whatever you use apply it properly. Best of luck with your choice.
Sir just received mine so I wash my car with soap only or what do I clean it with before applying
There is more than cleaning it with auto soap. You need to decontaminate the paint with clay bar and preferably polished to remove any residue.
I applied 2 weeks ago. It is a garbodge of "ceramic coat" . After 1 wash the paint is like before...
Sorry to hear that. Did you let it cure long enough? Mine lasted nearly 11 months with 2 coats.
Probably purchased a fake 9H.. looks the same, smells the same but not the same...
Nice job how is it working and how long does it last?
Depending on your application anywhere from 6 to 12 months
Thank you for the review video. It is very clear and to the point how to applied to the car's body paint. Just curious, did you apply the 9H Mr. Fix to your car's light and the wind-shield glass?
Edit: Do you you use the same microfiber cloth to remove the residue on another surface? Or do you flip on difference sides? Will it not scratch the surface of the clear coat?
I did apply it to the glass.... but it is not meant for glass and plastic. They make a different product for that. I used about 6 micro fiber cloths. The cloths didn't get hard but the applicator cloth did and I used several of those also.
Can you do multiple coats? and has anyone put it on there windshield?
Hi, do you need do wet the mf first before buffing?or wet the surface first before applying mr fix?thx
I detail for a living. Don’t have a garage for a ceramic coating as I’m mobile but want to get into ceramic coatings. A customer gave me this product. Think it’ll be hard to use in cool temps? (35-40*)
I would check with the documents that came in the package. The temperature is going to affect the time you have to remove the product and may cause hardening and leave lines that will look horrible and will be difficult to remove.
EvilBatman very true. I spend enough time correcting people’s paint that the other detailers mess up on top of my own customers, I would hate to have to remove a coating.
When did you use the bottle of water to mist? Right before apply the Mr Fix? After, to activate?
Before applying.
After aplying, dit you cure for how long? Or did you directly buffed it out? Would like to trie it also
It was approx 5 min, but will differ depending on temperature
Can I polish the first and then apply ceramic coating or do i have to wash the polish off and do coating?
According to instructions it should not be applied to fresh polish.
I have done some of my car pannels with this and my windows, seems to work quite well on glass! Did you end up doing your glass and if so how is it holding up for you.
+Andrew Gregory I did the glass and it is is fine. I was hoping it would also help with chips. So far so good.
EvilBatman good news! Only today i put a second coat on my windshield, I left it longer this time before buffing and hopefully I will see a better longivity
+Andrew Gregory I hope it lasts, they say 12 months, but I think I am going to do 3 coats across the whole vehicle next time ....cant hurt and for the 10 a bottle it's super cheap.
EvilBatman sure is! Go for it
How about a follow-up just to show if the ceramic coating has worked over a year
I will be doing a review in 4k in a couple of weeks
Sir, is just one layer is enough.? Or is better if more than one? And how long should apply the next layer? Thank u. It very imformative
I applied several and it was the same day , just started in one place and went around the vehicle a couple of times
EvilBatman thank U Sir. God bless.. one more thing Sir, I lost my small cloth, what should i use to replace it, what kind? Microfiber can replace it? Or a cotton cloth enough?Thank U Sir.
And also my car has waxed on it, can i do the procedure?
You can use a small suede cloth...the only issue is it will absorb more of the product.
EvilBatman Thank U Sir. God bless
Hi! Nice video! I’m planning to buy the same product and will apply it by myself as well. How often do you spray water on the cloth/sponge? Do I need to have a buffing machine or what you call that. And do you a facebook page where I can ask questions? Your video is really helpful but I’m still researching before buying and applying it. Thank you and God bless!
These is nothing like spray every 4 wipes, just make sure the applicator is wet all the time. You don't need a buffer but I did it after just to make sure it all came off smoothly. No I don't have a Facebook page.
How long does it last? Please share your experience
Lasted about 8 to 10 months.
Still don't understand do you have to moisten microfiber toelwhen drying the extra residue or applicator before application. Is that to activate the coating itself
Micro fiber cloth to remove it dry. The applicator is wet.
Hi Sir, is it okay to apply the ceramic coating on a damp cloth than a dry cloth. Thanks in advance.
Not according to the company. The cloth picks up dirt that you would be rubbing on the paint. That is why you change our the cloth. I guess it could work if you changed the cloth frequently. Since I have not tried it, I cant say for sure if it is a good idea.
Does it have any bad effects on the paint in the long term?
+Ali Sadeq I have heard of none as lo my as it is applied correctly. The issue is if you mess up, it will be on for a while.
Dude i want to use this product on my Bike and Newly repainted car, can i use this product or go for expensive product ?
First I would check with the company that painted the car and see what they recommend as far as time needed before applying anything. As for getting this or a different product...I used this on a new jeep with no issues, but there are many good products that have come down in price. Only you can make the choice based upon your needs and budget. Good luck.
So every panel u will spray a bit of water at the applicator pad cloth?Did u applied it on the windshield or headlight? Is it safe to be apply on external plastic trim?
Yes on applying water to everything. NO on the glass. There are products for glass and plastic. The issue on the glass it is really really likely to have streaks which candy cause issues when driving , so again no on windshield.
@@EvilBatman ok meaning it is not suitable for Headlight as well
Not supposed to be applied to headlights, but if you did. I dont think it will be to the same degree of a problem as the windshield would be. I tried it on a windshield and it left a hazy residue, which lasted months. It make cause a problem with light output and not be as clear or bright. Dont really know, but
I wouldnt.
@@EvilBatman the water is an activator ? i seen other application DIY where they dont use water.
For this product it was.
Did this product left your surface feeling un smooth? Like it it grips a bit vs when your first had it washed?
Nope... smooth as before and seems to resist dirt build up better.
EvilBatman mine feels a bit sticky. Not so much but feel like i did something wrong... oh well lol. I didn't mist it with water but rather wipe it with a damp micro fiber and than with a soft cloth. That's probably where it went wrong ha. Thanks for the video though! It helped! Instruction it came with was confusing.
They are crappy instructions. As long as there are not hardend wipe marks it may be that you didn't wipe enough. Tha is why I ran a buffer over it very very very lightly just to remove some residue. The worst that will happen is to have it harden with marks and hopefully it didn't. If it is wiped off then you just don't have as no such protection.
Nice I like it
Thanks
I let the product dry by 10 minutes and when I passed the microfiber over the product it got stuck do you know why? The product turned out like taffy do you know why?
You may have let set too long based upon temp. Or it could have been not enough water sprayed on . Or a combo of both.
power
Hey Bro. Have you gone trailing yet? How is it against the frees you mentioned?
+Bryan Lorenzo I have gone off road 4 times and no scratches or rock chips at all...now I have not gone through heavy brush, but I took off the steps, lifted it and have 12 inch wide tires and still nothing along the fender flares.
Did you try it on glass? Your opinion?
Hey did u wet the car as well or just the applicator
On the previous video of my scatpack I sprayed the car on the jeep I wet the applicator. Both worked because the applicator will get wet when spraying.
Is it a good idea to apply it over freshly waxed vehicle..?
nope, you have to remove the wax before applying or it will come off very quickly because of the oil in wax, decontaminate, polish, rub with alcohol and apply nano coating, there are a lot of videos to check out.
Hey sir, can I reapply the coating after 3 days? I only used 1/3 of the bottle with my car. Thanks
-makiboy
+Faye Anne Peralta I did but it was garaged and not driven. I cleaned the vehicle the next day and applied it. If you drive it you run the risk of getting contaminants in the coating and paint.
Should you polish and wax your car before adding the 9H Ceramic Coating?
I tried the 9H Mr-Fix on my V-Max and Evinrude E-Tec outboard too. Testing to see how it will look, work and it's longevity, before I trust it to do my vehicles. I may even do my lawnmower and snowblower.....when you think about it. Lawnmowers and snowblowers take more abuse (stone chips and scratches) than our vehicles. Thank you for your reply...BTW. And your video and explanation was a 10/10. Good luck and thanks again.
NO!!!!....You need to make sure there is zero wax or oil on the paint. You want the clearcoat as perfectly clean as possible.
Buff to correct defects is a compound and a lamb's wool pad on a rotary buffer if you can use rotary or if you don't have the experience for rotary use a dual action then go with a Polish and polish it out and then wipe it down with a IP a solution like a water alcohol solution you do not want any wax on your paint you would be doing good to you Body Shop Safe compound polish before you coat cuz it's easy to clean off your paint job if you have fillers left from your compounds and polishes than the coating will bond to that and then come off of the car
I have a Black Camaro I just received mine. Will it leave strikes ?
It could. You need to be careful and make sure you have a super smooth application and don't leave it on too long.
Can it be applaied to windows?
+Diego De la Hidalga Yes...you just have to make sure it is not streaky because it can leave a film residue after removing it.
How many coat can be applied in one bottle of Mr fix coating.
+Akshath Sai I got 1.5 coats out of 1 bottle but depends on size of your vehicle.
Is it necessary to use a clay bar on it I have 2013 black BMW x6 with 18,000 it has some Scuff marks on it but I live in green bay wi now it's 18 Degrees out I was thinking on sharing tell spring I could do it in the garage 50 Degrees in the garage
Yes it is
Hi sir. I just got 2 bottles of it each 5$. May be its a fake product not sure. Anyways i am going to try on my black Accord 2005. Its prity old, its little paint also fading from roof. Few scratches here and there. My question is will it fill those scratches on clear coat? Will the 9h ceramic give shine to the roof which is slightly faded. Its flaming hot in Dubai during summer
No, you have to take care of those scratches.
which one first claybar or detailer? thanks
first wash then decontaminate than clay then polis or compound and polish then apply
Sir, my nephew bought Kobalt 9h ceramic liquid in USA for me and sent it to me! But it only contains ceramic liquid bottle, spring pump & one micro fibre cloth.they say only to spray & wipe off with micro fibre cloth on painted car color!!!! I don't have buffing pad or applicator!!! So, how to apply & finish the job. Please advise!
First I would go by their instructions since different products use different methods of applying. If you choose to do similar application to what I did, I guess you could use a small firm foam sponge and cut it to size.
EvilBatman Got it. Thanks.
Was one bottle enough for the whole jeep?
+Raynal Singh yes one bottle did the jeep 2 times and I still have some left over. Out of 2 bottles I did the jeep twice and Scatpack once with about a 1/4 bottle left
This product from China is getting a bad rap. How did the durability work for you and how long did it last?
Just about 11 months
EvilBatman not bad. It’s rated for 12 months
I thought you were supposed to spray the paint with water, NOT the applicator.
I have done it both ways. I liked the applicator because I got a better idea of use of the product.
Do u think if u put more coats, means more protection to your car paint?!
+mukesh desai I hope so. I don't have proof but is is reasonable to think multiple layers would help.
EvilBatman thanks
@@EvilBatman I think so too, Thx
do u put this product on ur windsheild too?
Yes , but it isn't recommended. They have specific products for that and plastic.
Hey pal, any update on how this stuff held up? cheers
+Janeshcw I will be doing a video on it in a week or so. It has been great so far and will show it after 4 off roading trips with bigger tires that kick up dirt. I haven't check the water repellant yet, but I will show it wiping off the dirt with just a wet towel and not being washed for a week
Would this work on glass? Any suggestions? Or anyone try it?
+Bryan Lorenzo it is not made for glass, but I did use it on my windshield. It was fine. It takes more effort to make sure it is off and not streak.
For how long does this product last?
Depend on the number of coats....6 to 12 months
How is it holding up after a year?
I am going to be doing an update in December or so...so far I can tell the protection is starting to fade. Still virtually no chips but water doesn't run off as well.
my problem after applying this is many lines
I think it could have been either dirty applicator cloth or the cure time was short due to temp and was left on too long.
@@EvilBatman yes..but not the cloth..i realize it dry fast..then tiny line apears bfore i swipe with another cloth....
It's not 3-4 drops, it's 3-4 drops per 40 cm
bro, how was it longevity wise??
It lasted about 11 months
How many bottles have you used?
About 1.25 for multiple coats.but will depend on the size of the vehicle
which camera do you use?
+el huron I use my Samsung Galaxy S8+
Stick with well known brands like Optimum - Gloss Coat is great. CarPro - CQuartz or Gtechniq, they also have a few options. Each of these come with much better support and company testing. I'm not sure I'd use an $8 coating on my $30k+ vehicles without knowing the long term effects of the product.
Same chemicals, different brands...
MaxiiBoii same types of base chemical I would agree. Forensic detail channel did a great test and comparison. I would look at that. Not dissing the product, but I would not spend 30k+ on a vehicle and use an $8 semi-permanent coating.
Nope, not the same stuff! Sorry to tell you this but its not. It is based off of Si02 which is correct, but they do vary based on many other factors. Search Si02 and you will see what I am talking about.
Only 30k on a car that's not much for a car must be second hand
can we apply this on plastic parts also?
+Aarav kumar I have not and ourposely kept it from plastic and rubber. Others have said they have with a good outcome, but again I have not.
Thank you sir..
How long does this last?
depending on the application anywhere from 6 months to a year.
How long will the coating last as per manufacturer's claim?
+Chubby Luna up to 12 months depending on how it is treated, washed and so on.
Can you say that if each coat will last 12 months, 3 coatings will last for 3 years?
+Chubby Luna I don't know...dont think it will be that long but I would guess it would be longer
Thanks. By the way, you have a beautiful Jeep. Love the color. Hope you enjoy your off road adventures with it.
+Chubby Luna thanks so much. I have some additional pics on Instagram @ evilscatman392. Just added a lift, Rubicon suspension, light bars, winch, backup camera and sensors, along with rear seat tilt. Got to wait for tires and will be wrapping the hood.
Do i need to clay bar my 10 months old car.? Hardly driven 8,000 miles on it?
Also how often do you change the micro fiber paper?
+Jing Tolentino I changed it twice, but rotated it also. It gets dirty and I rotated it to a clean area then swapped it out.
+Jing Tolentino It won't hurt. It is more the type of driving conditions not the miles. I only had 6k on it.
Good video, however i have to disagree with what some people are saying, stating 'why spend the money on a £60 when you can DIY for £5'
Because I believe that the £60 coating will have the R&D to prove it works...also the technical support if their are any problems or questions with the product.
also is it really as hard as a £60 coating at 9H?
i purchased a bottle of this last month and i have to say, while it does have great hydrophobic and gloss properties, the real reason why we put a ceramic coating on a car is for the added strength it gives to traditional clear coat, self healing properties, superior UV resistance, self cleaning ability etc....
i dont think for £5 you'll be getting this at all
only time will tell, I've put this on half my bonnet and the other half has gloss coat on it, so i will definitely be keeping an eye on it to see how it fairs up to the more expensive coatings
Mike Atkinson any latest update?
Some of the beading has tailed off, its not quite as tight as the optimum side and the surface feels slightly grittier like its holding onto contamination more (tested with a thin plastic bag over my hand) Coatings have a slight tacky feel to them and thats what i feel on the optimum side, but Mr fix side just feels gritty and grabby.... I do all motorway miles so if its the break dust that has accumulated on the bonnet or a combination of winter salt other things im not too sure yet as i haven clayed it or used any Iron-X on it, I think ill keep it on there untill we're out of winter then give it a good decontamination then see how it holds up after acids and solvents have been applied
Mike Atkinson any latest update now? Cheers
Yes check k out the 5 month review video I made.
Any updates?
J'ai une Renault Talisman flambant neuve. J'ai voulu protéger la carrosserie avec un vernis céramique et j'ai acheté sur Amazon celui-là:
9H MR.FIX Auto Glass coating
Merci
Why let it sit for to long 5 minutes is a lot 1 to 2 minutes is enough
How do you remove the coating?
Not easily and that is why you need to be carefull when applying. If it is messed up it will mess the paint. So if you do mess it up I would contact a professional.
But it does come off certain time
I will fade away anywhere from 6 to 12 months from washing and so on.
how many coat did u apply?
1 to 3 depending on the area. Fenders 3 and hood 2 the rest was 1 coat
just ordered 1 for my car with what do I wash my car with before applying
