This is absolutely phenomenal I can’t believe I’m only now seeing this - this captures both Yuri on Ice and the feeling of being in a highly competitive sport (I can’t describe it in any other way) perfectly! Oh my days wow this is incredible :,)
It’s been almost a year since a first saw this, and to this day, it’s still a pre-competition ritual for me to watch this just before I compete and every single time, the adrenaline rush it gives me is unmatched.

I actually like this song. but I don't want to enter the kpop fandom because of the insane stans and because I don't want to support such a toxic industry/community like this one. max 50 kg to be a kpop idol it's absolutely insane and horrible. I can't understand how the Koreans created such unhealthy standards and normalised them. I heard jpop and cpop are like this too. I don't understand, not to be racist but are those Asians crazy or what??
@@luna6691 I totally understand and I thought the same. But when I entered to the kpop fandom i understood that nothing is simple or black and white. Yes, kpop industry is hell and i hate it and i hate how they treat their idols and how crazy fans can be. But I have never cared so much about celebrities like I care know. They are passionate what they do and they work so hard. I don't really know what my point is but I just want to say that it never was my goal to be kpop fan but now i cant remember my life without it :D.
@@luna6691 I can't really tell you that it's not a bad industry, or that the fandom isn't toxic, or even that it is worth getting into really. What I can tell you though is that every entertainment industry is messed up, it's only a matter of how much you are willing to see. And with Kpop, only the bad stuff seems to shine through to outsiders. There're labels who treat their idols better than others, there're groups who want out of their contracts and groups who signed up again after it ran out. The beauty standards are harsh yes, but this pressure isn't just applied to idols in Korea, it's a cultural problem.
So here's my advise: if you like the song, then listen to it. As far as we know, BTS is getting treated very well by industry standards, at least currently. And if you don't want to support a system you hate, then don't spent money on it. The songs are on RUclips too. And if you find yourself liking the group, or getting along with the fandom, that's good. Enjoy yourself then. If not, also fine, but don't let prejustice keep you from a genre you might enjoy. Liking Kpop is not a bad thing, and of course the culture seems crazy from an outsiders point of view, but once you get to know it a bit, you'll see that it's just as complicated as your own culture, pros and cons and all.
