Yuri Plisetsky in my opinion is the most determined skater in this anime. I don't think people give him enough credit for his achievements because he's "nAtuRaLly GoOd or GifTeD." Nobody is born with such stamina or potential. He is very critical, ambitious, and will do anything in his power to attain the gold medal (Also let's not forget he's 15, competing with skaters that are 18+). Although he's not the nicest or approachable individual, I believe apart from his extraordinary figure skating skills, he has a good heart. Yuri really did deserve to win at The Grand Pix Final.

Honestly, credits to him for being so passionate. Figure skating is a terribly difficult sport, pretty much one in a million have the talent, technique, and grace to constantly win. (The only figure skater active now that I can think of now who fits the criteria is Yuzuru Hanyu.) There’s constantly new faces, new techniques to learn, the need to become better, and purely how overwhelming the pressure can be. And the Russian national team is notorious for being especially harsh, which is one thing I wish could have been highlighted in the anime. Somehow, Yuri remained steadfast and confident in his abilities, and I have so much respect for that. I have so much more to say as a fan of figure skating, but one thing is for sure. Yuri Plisetsky could have easily been a brilliant lead character.
I love Yuri Plisetsky SO MUCH. He is SO talented, especially for his age. At some episodes and scenes, I feel he never got the spotlight in the series as he deserved, so that's awesome that you made an AMV about him!

I just started watching this anime and I already love Yuri- Like, people think he's a brat but I believe that he just wants to prove he's more than what people credit him for. He's my favorite character now and I'm 100 percent sure he'll be my favorite character by the time I finish this anime.

And the fact that he was basically betrayed by Victor is always brushed aside. Victor promised to be his coach, only to leave him like that. He had to fight through the struggles, his feelings, his tough coaches. All the training... He came so far despite being so young. He's also gorgeous💖😌 And second of all, this AMV also shows the other charcaters and their struggles. The kendrick part really fits them all so well!!
