I use line charts to spot the ABC pattern more easily, then draw a horizontal line at B level. When price breaks the line and MACD histogram is still in the same color, I enter the trade

Great video. also i agree with your opinion, For the newbie if you are actually trading in the crypto space and you don't have a sound mentor. Then you are certainly going to get liquidated in 90% of your trades. Yeah that's the sad truth. For a start you need a good and experienced hand to guide you. Trust me, trading isn't difficult as we see it. With the right information and guide, you can earn hugely monthly.

How did your paper trading work with testing out this strategy?

This is so true! Almost any simple disciplined strategy/plan will work... But always the tinkering...
So I back tested this and for a while, in all honesty my results sucked. What I determined was I wasn't choosing proper ABC's, I was kinda shoe horning anything possible. So I started going to lower time frames, 5 and 15, and using this method on W's, and it worked great! I added a little piece to it as well where I'm able to enter in 2 stages. I've been trading with it live now for two weeks as it's become one of my three strategies.

The MACD is my favourite indicator because I think of it as a living breathing person who’s called Mac D. Once an indicator has a human name I connect with it on a more personal level.

Tried this strategy with my own optimizations yesterday and 2/2 trades were green. I set a 1.5 RR and the 2nd contract trails the 9 ema until price closes above/below it. It seems to be pretty good mainly because it is a trend following strategy.

Am a long time trader, and your technique really adds to the universal pivot trading. Thank you, BUT I do have a question: MACD is doing the job of filtering the trade, that's visible; but here time frame can be tricky: say you have a good case of a valid ABC with MACD remaining in the same colour, say red for a short, even when prices pulled back to B and this is using 30 minute time frame; but here comes the caveat: if I change my time frame and go lower to 15-minute, I still have an ABC pattern (exactly the same but with double the # of bars) but here my MACD histogram will push positive at B, so no valid pattern now! Or the opposite: I see a beautiful bullish ABC in 15 minute but, alas, MACD turns red at B. I want this trade, so I will just trick the all thing and raise my time frame until MACD stays in positive territory. And that possibility to trick the system makes me a bit concerned. I am curious of what you think here. Thank you anyway for posting generously your findings. I liked and subscribed :-)
You're correct, and you're describing market noise. I like simplicity. I prefer to analyze 10 candles on M30, instead of 20 on M15.

Months ago, I noted while ur original Ichi video was informative, it was basic.
U responded with a deeper analysis on Oct. 9.
Bec ur presentations r concise, cogent & insightful, I find it necessary to review ur older videos multiple times. Every word u utter (while economical) plays a logical role. Even ur concepts are orderly. Surely, u must keep a neatly tidy home!
Weakness of Ichi; in a strong bullish trend, base/conversion, spans A/B are below price. Therefore, in such scenario, Ichi does not offer resistance points above price such as VWAP & pivot points offer. Agreed?

By adding 8 EMA on daily chart,wait for minimum of 2 candle low above the 8 day EMA, switch to 4 hours chat,add 20 EMA and 50 Ema on 4 hours chat,ensure that 20 EMA is above 50 EMA for buy and opposite for sell.
This is top down time scaling.
If 4hr agrees with Daily as stated above, then use 4 hours to tarde the ABC pattern.
Pls this method is for trending market.
For you to know the trending pairs, add MTF MA indicator, and select the trending from the indicator.

Very easy to understand strategy however I do have a question regarding risk to reward on this set up. You explained how you determine to set your profit target with your measuring the mid point from line A and C to the B break out level. However many of the set ups I'm back testing that measured moved gives usually 1:1 or 1.5:1 risk to reward at most. Though many of these set ups often provide closer to 2:1 or more r/r when successful. Do you just stick to that measured move instead and have a high enough win rate and rely on your win rate? Averaging a 1:1-1.5:1 r/r is good if this set up is providing a 65% or better win rate. Just curious if you're always sticking to that measured move profit target or if you scale out and let winners have more chance to run higher...?
I'm currently backtesting breakeven stops when I reach 1:1 (on several stocks). It really depends on the market you're trading. Planning a follow up video on this.

This is golden and it works all the time if you catch the first upmove from consolidation or the end of a trend. It gives 0.5 - 1 R/R and i will really appreciate if you can tell a way to surf the trend when we catched first move, because some of these moves end up like 1/10 R/R.

@@TheSecretMindset also in this strategy we are opening a position in the third elliott wave. So i decided to set tp level 1.62 times the 1st wave length from point C which is the minimum 3rd wave length. It gives much more R:R than your calculation.

First one, default MACD.
@@TheSecretMindset Thank you! you are so quick! lol.....How do you tweak it to look like yours...When I put it on it says EMA EMA at the end and the histogram is not as strong or showing the extremes as yours does. Although the settings 12, 26 close 9 are the same.
@@melmelstar7604 Its the same there is no other tweak, just adjust the size of the MACD and it will look similar to the one in the video

@@TheSecretMindset Regarding Stop Loss: if the pattern is bullish, put the stop loss below the bottom of point C. How much below the bottom of point C? If it's a particularly deep point C, that would be a very scary stop loss because your loss would be very big already.
