Really love you man, I have been using this same strategy since few weeks but I use to select two high low individual ema- with 9 length and third Ema with 36 length and Source ohlc4. But your this video and indicator gave me very different and strong perspective. Now I tried this indicator with TEMA length 18 to identify direction of small trend. Thanks once again.👍👍

Hi sir, excellent material, editing with great care, you are the best!! One option to set a channel like this is to use the Keltner channel set with the length at 50 and the multiplier at 0.5, the result is the same using the 2 moving averages. I did this because I didn't find the indicator you mention in the trading view. Cheers!

An additional easy-to-code potential filter involves using bollinger bands, probably with a period < 20 and deviation of < 1.0. A bullish HA candle open >= the sloping upper bb when both are above the EMA(hi) indicates a strong uptrend. Possible exit is on a price cross down. Vice versa for bearish setups. Now, I haven´t tested this setup yet but visually it looks like it should work and it is an easy code - unlike trying to code divergences. Time of day filters are also likely important, especially if day trading. Thx for the video - high quality ideas, as always.

@@TheSecretMindset Here´s something even simpler that you might want to look at: HA candles, the Envelope indicator with a tight deviation (e,g, 0.025) and CPR pivots (also known, I think, as Daily Range pivots. Trading would focus on days with tight and/or virgin CPRs.

The 50 moving average channel makes it easier to pinpoint areas where smart money like to do business and I like to ride on their coat tails, like a little bird on an elephant. Adding the ADX and DI confirms trend strength and shows me whether selling or buying volume has come in to fuel the new move.

Love the strategies but you should do some in replay mode, everything is extremely easy to spot by looking at the previous chart data
I honestly feel like that's what 99% of RUclips traders do. Anyone can do that. Let's see you live trade it or a minimum of run it back. I could be a guru making millions using basically any technique on yesterdays charts.
I tried the replay mode on Tradingview, but the replay function is not allowed with the Heiken Ash candles.

Very nice setup. A questions, when I create this setup which indludes high low EMA and ADX filter, what is the easiest way to set up some kind of alert to notify me when I need to enter and exit the trade? In other words, how to avoid being glued to a screen on 1h candles and get notified when the price move above or below EMA channel. Thanks a lot.
You could create alerts on Tradingview.
I have seen many of your videos and find them extremely helpful...save for one minor note: the examples at the end of your videos tend to whiz by too quickly. Might be helpful to take a little more time when you put all the different indicators together in a slower more methodical way.

With Heikin Ashi candles the entry works better with a pending order or with a instant order? Is there any way to improve the timing for better entries while using HA candles? I mean most of the time the average value of HA candle will be higher/lower compared to a candlestick.
We can open two tabs of Tradingview, one with HA, other with classic candles for better entries/exits. Just an idea.

I don't like ADX, since it shows only what you already see, a trend... So, but the rest is nice stuff. Trader David Paul also recommended HiLo ema, but length = 5 :-). Heikin Ashi wicks, a great thing to watch, thanks !

What R:R would you suggest while using this? Fantastic video as usual.
If the channel is narrow and I enter near it, I go for 2:1. If the channel is wide, I aim for 1.5:1.

Traders biggest enemy is trend flipping on A dime(e.g. 1H/lower times frame trend).Trend on 4H chart is the best trend guide for majority of forex traders( if one keeps trades for 3 -5 days--not day trading). By the time trader realizes that trend on daily chart is up, market has already gone up about 3-5 days & if you ask supercomputer for the mathematical odds, computer tells you that odds are negative right from the start.Trend based on the last 5-15,four hourly candles has enough big players/juice/force behind it so that it would not flip on A dime, so trader has decent chance to make something without buying overpriced asset to lose again. I seek wisdom from every trader.? And Thank you.
