    I really love this color you used for the Epoxy. I have yet to try anything with Epoxy just yet. Looks so cool in the holes of this banksia.

    I have thought of using Banksia pods in one of my projects but never got around to it since I can't figure out a good design. But you did an amazing job! It looks amazing!

      Thanks very much. I also did a small goblet with Banksia and that came out super cool. In fact if you look at my profile on here I’m pretty sure I used it as my banner. 😊 Unfortunately I did it before my RUclips journey so only took video in vertical. 🙈. I had a lot of response from it though, if that helps, really simple project as well, as long as it doesn’t make you itch like it does me 😂.

      @@tendring_woodturning did you just mention itching from Banksia pod or from the resin? I developed awful allergy from using the resin and now I have to use PPE at all times.

      @oneturnatatime6309 oh really? That sucks 🙈. No the basksia I meant, there a what I can only describe as a velvet layer, and that makes me itch like mad. I’m good as soon as I get rid of it. 😊

    Wow absolutely love this! How do you get the resin bubbles out?

    • @tendring_woodturning
      @tendring_woodturning  Год назад +1

      Thanks very much 😊. To get bubble free resin i cure it in a pressure pot at 50-55 psi (I can send links if you like). The bubbles are compressed and cannot be seen by the human eye.
      I didn’t show the pressure pot in this video but do in others, like this one:

      Hope that helps and please reach out if you have any questions. 😊
