Loved the video and especially the chef! Were you there during Hurricane Helene? We had to leave the Gulf Coast the day before Helene hit and drove to Atlanta to my brother's home. NC received the worst damage from that storm. Then, a few days later, another hurricane hit as well!
The steaks looked amazing! A great experience, it is how the rich live being cooked for i guess lol 😅 The villa certainly had a few bad bits which you wouldn't expect for high end, especially the loose hand rail... though it looked quite smart! I loved your balanced review rather than the glossed over ones you can get on youtube. All the best Neil and Ant 😊

It’s Nice to see the lodge guys aswell and you all having a great night with the chef . great positives and negatives to on the villa “ I’ve just put window stickers with palm trees on my apartment in spain as the shower rooms are overlooked . I noticed they had a lovely Princess dress hanging in the Princess room and a couple of light savers in the Starwars room. Being a villa owner I wonder if these will still be there after a few bookings with lots of kids. Loved the idea of hiring the chef but it is a set menu so maybe can’t be okay for a group with different tastes eg I hate cheese and allergic to tomatoes. Steaks looked beautiful and must admit I have never cooked a steak in the oven.
Actually the chef will alter his menu to meet specific requirements as to what individuals like or dislike. He will also cook up something up from your fridge contents is you wish something specific. He told me he also brings backup gluten free dishes and Mac & Cheese for any kids, he is very prepared .
Have to say the outlook from your house over the lake is miles better, and for us when we come over and rent a villa we always hire a villa with a lake view, so much nicer when sitting by the pool.
I'm sure the owners appreciate the feedback. I would certainly want know if I were them. Not too many negatives that can be sorted out fairy cheap and easy. Nothing they can do about parking and the lot is not far from the villa. Glad you were able to enjoy the private Chef! Thanks Bazzas!!!!

We agree, I priced it for next year £7544. Wouldn't expect those issues at that price..

I think, maybe, it makes room for a walk in shower for anyone not able to step up into a tub? You get a choice shower or little bath lol🛀

The deeper tubs have a specific name " soaker tubs" They are often found in tbe corner of a bathroom

Indeed, it's the same for all those large villas in the area. They do have overflow parking areas but you may have to walk
