TGM is pro-American, to the point that I feel that if it HAD been released there, Chinese audience reception would be tepid at best, and disdainful at worst, considering the current climate between China and the US. If you ask me, I wouldn't put a hypothetical Chinese gross for the film as anything above $200 million, and even $150m seems a rather generous guess.

It used to be easy, but now it's hard for movies to get to China, only the batman, jurassic world dominion, minions the rise of gru and avatar the way of water released in China.
I only went to watch Uncharted and Minions: The rise of Gru. They were both awesome and enjoyable. I'm sure there were more awesome movies out there like top gun Maverick, The Batman or Doctor strange 2.
Totally i will never listen to the critits again i watch Uncharted months after it got realse it streaming but the sad truth is if the critits didn't excited Uncharted would have easily made twice as much money which is around 800 M

China added $245M. Next is France at $140M, Germany at $130M, South Korea at $110M and UK at $95M. Also, even without China, Avatar is above $2B.
