This is magical on so many fronts. Shawn's voice paired with Alec Wilder's writing and arranging; the lovely and evocative animation; the innocence of the subject matter; the beautiful arrangements put together by Shawn and team. Wonderful. Side note: anyone interested in Alec Wilder might enjoy Roland Hanna's album dedicated to his music.
They took this off Amazon and it was so disappointing, unsure of the reason it got taken down. But the reason for my disappointment was my then 2 year old loved this every night before bedtime. We would play this and she knew what time it was and it would settle her down almost instantly and then zzzz goodnight I scoured RUclips for bit and clips here and there but nothing like this in it’s entirety. So now 6 years later I played it and she remembers and is still captivated and drawn by the Melodie’s you sing so beautifully! She did comment on the slight “creepiness” of the paper dolls show.. lol she is 6 now hahaha thank you for sharing this with us and bringing back something that was special for us. Out next wish “ the great L” also a wefail production.
