It's really rewarding painting a 40k army for someone that really appreciates your work, and loves the game. I only know of one other Celebrity that openly expressed his love of WH40K and miniatures, and that was the late Robin Williams. For just over 10+ years I painted WH40K figures for Robin, including Ultra Marines, Blood Angels, Chaos Khorne Berserkers with the original Kharn, the Betrayer, Eldar, including an ArmorCast Phantom Titan, and many misc. figures, and vehicles. It was an honor to paint for him. I hope Henry Cavill sees what you are doing, and jumps on board! Good Luck Guys!
The trick to removing paint from plastic and resin is to only work for short periods. The reality is that you never really have to let them soak, giving them a scrub every few minutes will remove the paint as it's penetrated by the solvent. With a big project like this you can end up with a bit of a conveyor belt effect if you just scrub each model, rinse it off and return it to the bath. By the time you get back to the first model it'll have been a few minutes. Just pop on a podcast and don't worry about being aggressive, just let the solvent do the work. The best paint remover I ever found was Green Works
For real. I was using LA's totally awesome, and left a model sitting in it for 24 hours, and when I brushed it, the paint came off, but so did the detail.
Metal and resin is easy to remove paint from, just use unleaded petrol (gasoline). Seriously. Petrol will melt plastic in 2 seconds. Instantly destroyed. But it will not damage resin or metal at all. Put resin in petrol and paint will come right off
Save on the scrubbing - get a small sonic bath (for jewellery cleaning). 3-4 min cycle with GSW paint remover, rinse with toothbrush assistance and bingo. All gone. No use for big models of course but quite a time save if you’ve an army to strip. 😊
I haven't been into miniatures since I was a teenager, but honestly your videos are just so compelling. They're superbly edited, funny, engaging and just brilliantly done.

There is a cleaner called "simple green" here in the U.S. it will strip the paint without softening the plastic. A friend left plastic in simple green for 3 years to see if it would damage it, it did not.
I've always used Simple Green to clean minis. I've left minis in a cup for over a day and no issues affecting the model. I use an air can to literally blow of the other area a soft toothbrush can't get to.

i designed a d20 game for warhammer fantasy, 1 extra attack for each model to lower the power of 2 hand weapons, and frenzy, but on hit only 1-17, 18,19,20 are skull, shield, star that do different things for the unit. so can have lots of d20 rolling like 50 attacks for frenzy orcs which might seem complicated but doubling 20 dice then 10 normal, or 23 double dice and the boss 5 or 6. made different color orcs not just black orcs, most fit colors but white orcs are magic using, 1-17 different spells only 3 do damage, they are the color of orcs you kinda dont want. anyway if you are curious ill give you the rest of the rules. 1-17 stats really just 3-14, 9 is the middle roll number. different armor values 1-17 again with types of non armor armor, scales, bark, hide, and some others for weapons and spells that work better vs that type. anywho, my life is really crazy so probably might not want to really have contact with me, 4.5 years in prison all charges dropped and the people who put me there are fbi agents and corrupt judges so thats my life, i have 5 armies from around 6th ed, no one to play with so sad
