I think rather than a reference to iron man its more an homage to the dark knight returns with an older batman facing a prime superman. Kind of like an old quirkless all might vs a young prime all for one

Other than the armor he wears, he's nothing like Iron Man, and people wore armor before Iron Man.
I love the trope of seeing a character fight a really tough opponent with moves they've taken from other people. All ways gives me Goosebumps, like sasuke using lee's taijutsu
If All Might's gonna go down, he'll go down laughing like a madman just like always😁😁🤣🤣

Having already read the manga, I absolutely LOVED the way the series ended!! Some fans would disagree on the ending, but for me, it was perfect!!
I gotta say, y’all really be going against what All Might stands for at his core by believing he is going to lose. I have not read the manga so really have no idea what happens, BUT, the point of him saying that he has never fought thinking he was going to lose, is that he doesn’t think he’s gonna lose. He stands for hope when things seem hopeless, for victory from the jaws of defeat, for good and light in the face of overwhelming evil and darkness. He in and of himself alone is a challenge to the way things seemingly “have to be” in my opinion. That’s what it means for him to be the symbol of peace. So regardless of if he “wins” this fight or not, I think to honor the character, this sequence is meant to show us that it just may be possible that he could win! Don’t be countin my man out yet!

Idk personally I kinda disagree. Yes All Might’s whole thing is to always win against whoever he faces but easy example, *that was what Bakugo tried to embody too right?* I think the show does a very good job of making you doubtful / skeptical of the outcome and I think that’s perfectly fine; they’re not going against All Might for feeling like he might / will lose when based on his monologue he’s clearly saying “This will be where I die but I’ll go out fighting till the very end, giving the kids as much time as I can get”.
Even moreso the suit constantly bringing up broken bones / fractures / organs failing to make it seem more dire whether he will win or not. Show does a good job of not letting people just think “Oh it’s All Might he’ll win anyway he always does”. So yea I think their views and worries are fine haha regardless of outcome we all want him to win, many of us just fear whether or not he’ll live to tell the tale
The beauty in this fight is that All Might is partially responsible for a complacent hero society... he believed there needed to be a pillar so everyone else could rely on it. He became so, and so society became reliant on him, forgetting he wasn't gonna be there forever.
He didn't go the self sacrifice route with AFO back in Kamino. And so he learnt that there was more value in being part of a collective that fights rather than taking it all by himself.
He comes back to fight AFO not to win, not to destroy him, he understands he can't. His version of a victory is getting everyone else the chance to continue forward. He doesn't need to carry everything anymore. No matter what happens, he's already won
*What a way to end things off! Things have really come full circle for All Might. At the start of things, being a hero like this without a quirk wasn’t much of an option, but desperate times call for desperate measures. In a lot of ways, this suit is a symbol of the love and determination that got him to this point. And the cherry on top for me is that it apparently has Melissa’s voice.*
*Also, rest in peace Toga. You deserved a better life...*

i think the writer wrote about Allmight, this character is inspired by the joker in the DC comic, but instead of extremely evil like the joker, Allmight is extremely kind and good, so Allmight is the joker but in reversed

Toga and twice killed eelboy. The same dude in ochako's flashback where eelboy saved someone's life. But ochako will do her best to save the mass murderer who killed hundreds and felt no remorse but won't care about eelboy. Some random good hearted hero who died and no one cares about him cuz we need to tell toga that she has the cutest smile. 💀 Legit horikoshi did all this on purpose.
