Hey JP, haven't caught any sea trout there, but pollock is very common. Go to the beaches for sea trout, plenty around sligo. Just a reminder, that sea trout fishing requires license and tags

They are edible but not everyone likes them, also they need many years to grow up. But they give decent fight.
